- sych0, on 10/12/2007, -5/+30the hell with final fantasy, give me a new chrono trigger
- dotdan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+18Well, we got Chrono Cross and I still prefer Chrono Trigger..
- TJ09, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15"Whether a Secret of Mana sequel happens depends solely on whether the fans want it or not, so let them know!"
I'm a fan, I want it. Dunno about anyone else, but I'm definitely hoping for a sequel. - Wonotch, on 10/12/2007, -3/+14Screw Final Fantasy. Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger FTW!!
I will scream like a little school girl at the release of a Wii title in either of these "Universes". - Pharaoh777, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11I didn't see any new Final Fantasy or Vagrant Story on the list...
- fireflash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Unless I missed something (which is entirely possible), SE is developing a Dragon Quest game, as well as a new FF: Crystal Chronicles game for the Wii.
- millixaw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6We already got a sequel: Seiken Densetsu 3 (Secret of Mana was SD2). Well, only the Japanese got it. I'm sure the huge fanbase of the rom and its mature fan-translation should be proof enough that Americans want the game.
- x0rtrunks, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I'd love a sequel. The SNES games had great character. No, I don't mean characters, although they were good as well, I mean the style, and feel of the game. Especially the artwork and environments. A Wii sequel could be amazing.
- ronh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Big up's on Vagrant Story, one of the most original Square games for the Play Station.
- Eeqmcsq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I would love to see another FInal Fantasy Tactics game as deep and complex as the PS version.
- daridave, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I still play and LOVE Secret of Mana on my SNES. It will never die (for me). Children of Mana is in my wish list, and whatever they can think of for Wii, I will own some day. I don't mind Final Fantasy, I want Mana and Chrono !
In other words, these are great news. - sizzlebox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I would love a new SquareSoft game.
Has the word Wii become analgous with "old school"? Kinda feels that way....
anyways...
I want them to do ChronoT, Secret of Mana, and a GOOD FF7 game...(not the crap they've been churning out to milk the cash cow)... or maybe just do a FF anthology for the Wii and re-release the older ones like they r doing on the DS...
I miss the old SquareSoft... - Nyana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2If Square ports out Final Fantasy 7, say, keeping the game the same and updating the visual style, it's going to be the last nail in Sony's coffin.
Would you rather have a metrosexual Final Fantasy 12, or updated Final Fantasy 7? - iluvatar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They've been releasing plenty of Mana games in America lately. Wasn't there just Sword of Mana for the GBA?
- terminalpariah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'm really dying for a multiplayer dungeon crawl for the DS. Diablo would be nice but I'll snap up Square's offering, too.
- Sccatter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Final Fantasy and Nintendo back together again. Two great companys equals very happy gamers. I can't wait to see what kind of support Wii gets from SE. The prospect of another Secret of Mana is really awsome. But I'm a huge Chrono Trigger fan. This is gonna be great year!
- BamB00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1another vote for Chrono and Secret of Mana
Just remake the god damn Chrono Trigger and Secret of Mana(original casts), add some extra chapters, new endings, some new magics(tag, triple, quad). Make the graphic look like Okami and have the multi-players support. Now you got the Game of the Year. - xerus, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5"GOOD FF7 game"? Does not compute...
