Sony to Bundle Wii System with PS3 to Increase Sales

bbspot.com — President of Sony North America Frank Newmark announced today that Sony would begin bundling a Nintendo Wii console with every PlayStation 3 system sold.

    It would also show how desparate Sony really is but it is still amazing considering their stance with other companies.

    This move is either ingenious and incredibly stupid, but they have realized that MS basically told everyone that everyone would come out ahead by basically purchasing the Wii and 360 vs the PS3 on price and games alone.

    I guess when you have this much invested in new technology and a good chunk of their future income is reliant on the success of the PS3. They can not afford to not to do this.
