Multiple people creating their own game designs and publishing them online. Aside from the technical aspects of this game - it really does breath new life into a very tired genre. gamesindustry.biz has a great interview with the creators http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=23363 who were very surprised that Sony embraced and encouraged their gamestyle. By the time this comes out there's no doubt that the PS3 will probably have fallen in price, and combined with PS3's HOME virtual environment - This really could start turning things around.
