    My guess is Soldat was imported around Napoleons time when they attacked Russia. German is pretty obviously a borrowing, as are about 30% of German words.

  • JoWiGo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Quick tutorial: WASD to move, right click to jetpack, left click to fire (sometimes hold), hold E for grenades, Q to switch to secondary weapon, F to drop/throw weapon. Some secondary weapons have special abilities, you can throw the knife for good damage, and you must be crouched or prone (X) to shoot the law (bazooka).

    Although the graphics change from 1.3.1 to 1.4 took some getting used to, I'm over it.

    I really, truly suggest this to anyone, new gamer, soldat returnee, non-gamer, and just anyone who uses a computer capable of running soldat.
