Its one of the few successes of games being taken seriously as an art form. While this is merely parody of it, it is a good example of how the genius behind both inspire others.

- Feron, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2The original was made by Snake, over at Pixelation (www.pixel-arts.org/pixelation). Yes it is pixel-art - 100% hand made, possibly in MS paint, but more likely Promotion or photoshop.

FU: I am hoping that it will get rid of all the current limits on character detail. However, I think I need a stable development environment, since I do not compromise on character detail. So I am hoping to have more than enough time to study-otherwise, I will need another long development period!

I just found out about this game and watched IGN's video review. Very cool, but it could be disappointing to go back and play it at this point.

At first I thought the original posted image was pure pixel art and was very very impressed with it, but now that I've seen this bigger version I guess it wasn't pixel art. Could you point me in the right direction here?
