- aerogant, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1The problem with thousands of people voting, is that not every one has played every game, so popular games may win out over better games that did not get the coverage it needed to be popular (this isn't the same thing as voting on an issue or a politician, where there are fewer choices and it's easier to examine these choices better). On the other hand with a small set of people who play games as part of their job, will have played more games and are able to make a more well rounded point of view. Then again, a small set of people are more easily bribed. Then again, no matter what, advertisement and bribing can make your game more popular which can affect a poll as well.
