- darth_rx, on 12/08/2007, -0/+6Bushido Blade for the PS1 was an absolutely incredible game that no one seems to know about. It should have made the list for sure. Choose a player and choose a weapon. No life bar, possibly losing the use of an arm and/or leg, and the possibility of a one hit kill made it a challenging game that was definitely one of the best fighting games ever.

- jhodulik, on 12/08/2007, -0/+3As it is right now, the disc-based Xbox version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 is listed as 'Working' according to Xbox.com, but playing the game tells a different story entirely: just about every sprite is misaligned and jumpy, and the framerate runs unsteadily anywhere from what seems to be about 10 fps to 25 fps. It's unplayable.
Considering the Xbox Originals apparently run the same way (via emulation), an Xbox Original version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 simply wouldn't work without Microsoft tweaking the emulation routine considerably, something they've hinted won't be happening much starting in 2008.
What I'd really like to see, but is even more unlikely, is a total rebuild of the game for download over Xbox Live Arcade, similar to what Capcom is doing with Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix. - billymonster, on 12/08/2007, -0/+3they sound like they are appealing to the lowest common denominator, man show style.

You know for a game that came out more than seven years ago, it's amazing that so many, including myself, are just begging for a sequel in spite of the fact that Capcom doesn't legally own the rights to the Marvel characters any more. We're all clinging to the words of Marvel's VP of interactive media, who recently said:
“I'm a huge 2D fighting fan ... the Marvel vs. Capcom stuff has a definite close place in my heart, so we definitely wanna see that stuff live on.” (see http://www.joystiq.com/2007/09/03/marvel-vs-capcom ... )
