Of course it was based on GTA, but I felt it was a better game, as it was just about as close to being able to run around like a madman in Springfield as we will ever get. - millixaw, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I forgot. All MySpace users are Family Guy fans. Not because it's funnier than South Park or Simpsons (it isn't), but because it's the trendier of the three. Easy to grab some Family Guy merchandise at Hot Topic while clothes shopping. Most devoted South park fans are college aged by now and Simpsons is way too ancient. Plus there's not enough jokes about emo and suicide on that show.
You simply cannot attack anything those MySpace group-thinkers enjoy. Even if you attacked suicide, they'll mod you down. - dbr_onix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Nhoo, whhy.. The Futurama game was.. okay.. but it was unoriginal, dull and fairly crappy.. This game looks almost identical.. The first screenshot, the weapon/graphics/enemies/style of game play looks like a total clone of the Futurama game..
Lets just hope they acctualy try and do something geniunely entertaining with the game...

I'll guarantee you a few things:
It'll re-use catchphrases over and over again, despite the original show not really having any
The controls will be clunky (aiming will be especially awkward)
It'll be an uninspired 3rd person shooter, with some simple puzzles, and a few mini-games thrown in
