- CandidateZero, on 11/30/2007, -0/+1The unknown is what helps build anticipation and hype. With a game this closely monitored, the release of, what, a few blocks of Liberty City over Live or PSN would destroy the curiosity and mystery that Rockstar has created.
And it doesn't matter. Every major GTA release has raised the bar for gaming. This game is going to be worth every penny, though I think that statement's a foregone conclusion by now. - markiemarke, on 11/29/2007, -0/+1im sure it actually is done by a computer, a concept artist would have probably been given this task and they paint digitally fulltime. if you scrub the timeline the image pops from their hand painted version to the real. final box art version before they turn the lights off. this timeline painting is simply a smart marketing technique. i cant imagine anyone would paint in a text overlay like that
