- mrfreeziexp, on 01/13/2008, -20/+99If you buy this, your chances of ever getting laid drop down to 0. Seriously, I like Rock Band(I own it and love it) but this is past the point of ridiculous.
- MiltonWaddams, on 01/13/2008, -1/+77If it throws panties at you, count me in.
- Chirp08, on 01/13/2008, -2/+59Whats next the "Rock Band: Party Like a Rockstar Kit?" includes weed, crack, coke, and AIDS.
- TimeIsTissue, on 01/13/2008, -0/+51chances of ever getting laid drop down to 0?
what were they originally? - FoxFire13, on 01/14/2008, -1/+47Wow, my last 360 came with one of these already installed, of course the lights were red and the smoke was black.....
- cavie2002, on 01/13/2008, -0/+34listen to that video crowd
- capiCrimm, on 01/13/2008, -0/+24they were infinitesimally approaching 0 but never crossing
- jsreid, on 01/13/2008, -2/+22someone please tell me why you would want to buy this?
- Aceanuu, on 01/13/2008, -4/+22I already did this. I took my PS3 rockband to a party, and upon arrival set it up indoor. Well it seems that everyone thought the large detached garage fitted with half a dozen different rotating laser lights, a fog machine, and more wattage in speakers than you're average concert stadium would make a much better Rock band stage than a dance floor... the police came by twice we had the rock band so loud. Seriously, this is how rock band should be played, with smoke, flashy lights, and a crapton of people.
- Tyorant, on 01/13/2008, -2/+17I'm in a real band but I also own and enjoy playing Guitar Hero. Naturally I dislike the comments people give around the internet saying how GH players should play real guitars instead of these plastic ones, but seriously, this is the point where a-bit-of-fun crosses with get-a-life.
- TxAggie08, on 01/14/2008, -1/+15HAHA! You've never been in colege eh? Girls LOVE stupid ***** like this.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -2/+15They probably served alcohol-free beer as well...
- mannymix03, on 01/13/2008, -6/+19CONGRATULATIONS YOU PURCHASED THE STAGE KIT!
YOU ARE FAGS!! - Kr1ngle0, on 01/13/2008, -0/+13Guitar Hero is the only game I have ever seen you can get out in a party (including girls) and people will not look at you like you just shat on their parents.
- KineticShampoo, on 01/13/2008, -0/+12God damnit, this is past the point of no return. You realize the developers are making this ***** thinking: "How can we squeeze more milk from this tit?...."
You buy this = you have more money than you possibly deserve. - ericthegreat, on 01/14/2008, -0/+11STOP LINKING TO THE COMMENTS!
Not a hard concept to grasp. - iamafatguy, on 01/13/2008, -2/+13Real guitars are for old people. ;-)
- inactive, on 01/13/2008, -3/+13Or bottles of urine like at a 50 Cent concert
- mywhitenoise, on 01/13/2008, -0/+10Kind of useless. Would be cool if RockBand offered you to record performances and share them with friends, sort of like SingStar. People could make some pretty funny videos with this kit.
- tidu, on 01/14/2008, -0/+10I knew I was learning calculus for a reason
- Zaneris, on 01/13/2008, -2/+10REAL Guitar? That's so 80's.
- ferrariman60, on 01/13/2008, -10/+18This would be completely awesome, and take the Rock Band thing over the top. In a very good way. Worth $100? I don't know about that, but this would be so much fun.
- EvilFerret, on 01/13/2008, -5/+13*coughs* ..... Sounds like some party you had there.....
- dolemite5005, on 01/14/2008, -0/+7Not us married guys. We've got nothing to lose!
- guitarh3ro, on 01/13/2008, -2/+9So pointless.
- Synchro, on 01/13/2008, -0/+7Yes, the kit includes a blow up doll.
- knetworx, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6Still wrong: the wedding ring took the place of our dignity. Along with our shame, our pride, and pretty much everything else.
- sneakerelph, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6Throw your undies on the stage. No wait, you're underage.
- asdfrewq, on 01/14/2008, -0/+6I find it hard to believe you beat GH3, on expert, in a night.
- chicken101, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5I know, what's next sweat shop hero complete with real iron-presses?
- nicko68, on 01/14/2008, -0/+5To answer your question, yes, people do have fun playing these games.
- Suzuka09, on 01/13/2008, -2/+7As if rockband wasn't bad enough. For all that $300 you could buy a starter drum kit, or a semi-nice guitar.
- r1y23, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4I am gonna wait till they get a flame thrower add on, until then I am sticking by my 0.0000000000192102831 chance of getting laid.
- chillypacman, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4...except your dignity.
- chrisutley, on 01/13/2008, -0/+4YouTube needs to put in an order for a few petabytes of additional storage for all the videos of nerds playing Rock Band with the lights and smoke.
- Vodkablast, on 01/13/2008, -0/+4Haha, this reminds me of Freeks and Geeks, when Nick Andopolis would play that 29 piece drum set by himself with a bunch of lights and dry ice.
- inactive, on 01/14/2008, -1/+5Like any digg user knows whats involved in getting laid
- Myonosken, on 01/14/2008, -0/+4Because pressing a button corresponds to playing a stringed instrument?
- djcreamy, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3How about groupies? Will this game series finally get its players laid?
- nicko68, on 01/14/2008, -0/+3Because everyone and their friends already know how to play guitar and drums.
- Myonosken, on 01/14/2008, -0/+3I'm in.
- doshindude, on 01/13/2008, -0/+3this isn't Rap Band.
- fumbduck, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2does this stuff only work with rock band? cuz i'd be down to have a laser light and smoke show in my room at all times!
- bblande, on 01/13/2008, -1/+3Wow. Did we all forget that EA is the devil?
- sublemon1187, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2Playing real music on an instrument is fun, why wouldn't pretending to play music on a plastic toy be fun (especially if it's easier)?
- qwertydvorak, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2they are working on getting the price point right. they are hoping that economies of scale can bring down the price of the drugs.
- asdfrewq, on 01/14/2008, -1/+3You realize that the exchange of money for goods and services is the cornerstone of our society. right?
- neodorian, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2There is a point where you're better off just investing in some instruments or at least some turntables.
- Cint, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2and your own copy of heroine hero
- BESTenemy, on 01/14/2008, -0/+2Still waiting for the "Crack, straw, mirror and a hooker" Rockband kit.
