Revolution to arrive for Christmas. Zelda TP will use the controller!
soifall.net — Although Zelda: Twilight Princess will be playable on Gamecube, if you play it on the revolution you can use the unique controller! It will act largely as your sword. Great move by Nintendo to show off the controller's capabilities.
- 245 diggs
- digg it
- Wogna, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0probably a huge rumor, but I'll digg anyway.
- Sanchez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1In all the time I have read NGC, they have never made up something as big as this.
- bpapa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0woah. that's pretty big news
- vonelab, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0What a crock of....
Idiots. - NeoTechni, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I like how its the exact same gameplay with a different controller. Some revolution
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0they saying on their frontpage that the date is revealed... but there is no date, they say they dont know in the articles... TIME FOR SUEING TIME
- VipeNess, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1also this topic doesnt state this christmas... it will be next christmas... lame!
- fuzzboxer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well, it says Christmas in the UK. If we are to believe that Nintendo is going for a worldwide launch, I'll go with the info. Otherwise, Japan and America get the console in the spring and Europe in the winter. Think DS.
- KarlSage, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This is the same guy that made loads of digg clones in the past.
Take him down. - balazs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0the picture of the revolution on z002.jpg is the one of the mockup IGN made. This is fake and old. undugg and reported!

balazs is quite right. The only pictures showing the rev pad are existing mockups and press photos. No new footage showing Rev pads, and plenty of photos showing Gamecube buttons in the onscreen help. - TimmyGUNZ, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'll be shocked if Revolution isn't released well before November of '06.
- carguy84, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0I didn't even realize Nintendo was still around.
- theratdotus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0i heard 6 6 06 release date
- CAPSLOCK, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0This just in: Nintendo Revolution to be released!
- vileS, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0The title could not be more misleading.... To be released Christmas of 2006.
Marked Lame. - crapiolio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Very misleading title
- Kiltak, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That would be cool.
- teamparadox, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Ok...so I read it...if its even true who cares? How is swinging my arm up and down going to be anymore fun then pushing a button? This gimick like all Nintendo gimicks before will not last. How is anyone going to have a power session in this game if their arm falls off?
All kidding aside like I said before I dont see how this will be anymore fun then pushing a damn button. - DeadlyCouncil, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Twilight Princess = Vaporware
- Nobi-Wan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0By the time Zelda comes out they'll probably give out free Gamecubes with it. I think I'll pass on the Revolution for now.
- incognit0, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Is it just me, or do all the screenshots still look like crappy N64 games?
- vpcwiu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0'Revolution' isn't even the official launch name of the system. What a crock of poo.
- Sanchez, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes, because you wouldn't know that a new platform is coming out 3 days before the release date.
- wtfunkymonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Rev to bve released sometime before the end of next year!? WOW!
This is not news, this is pure speculation. - elpottsy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0where do you get off with that sensationalist ***** title, and you don't even know what the release date is, is there a way of barring retards like you from submitting anymore lies on digg?
- kepsux, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Im going to digg just b/c it's funny.
- Nobi-Wan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I ***** you not you are going to see so many gimmicky and cheap games using the Revolution's controller. They probably pushed Zelda back so that the Rev at least has ONE legit game to play on their system.
- STKD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"you are going to see so many gimmicky and cheap games using the Revolution's controller."
Oh like on the DS? Wait... no. - mc_hambone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0RTFA!!!! It says by Christmas 2006!!!!!! Very misleading title, Sanchez... RTFA!!!!
RTFA!!!! RTFA!!!! - KarlSage, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0hahaha, take that sanchez you bastardman
- chkMINUS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think im the only one hopefull about the "revolution". All the high tech games I play on my computer: doom, half life, fear, battlefield, etc... But i've always thought the gamecube was the most fun out of the consoles. Getting drunk with your friends and picking up Mario Kart for a 30 min session is a lot of fun. Fun that i've yet to see matched on the xbox or ps2. I never play on consoles for serious amounts of time and I prefer the cheap fun. Yes, they have a lot of interactive gimmicks that look childish but i've always found them to be the most fun with friends.
- squeakypants, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0meh, i was actually hoping for around summer :-( oh well
but misleading title, no digg - oroson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Revolution to arrive for Christmas. Zelda TP will use the controller!", yeah right!!??!! I mean of course you will be able to play Zelda on the Revolution if it’s going to play GC games, but what a miss guiding headline. I'm personally really looking forward to the new controller. And yes I'm sure some crappy games will come out at first. But it will at least be something different. And considering the price will probably be half of what the PS3 or Xbox will be I'm hyped. I can't wait till the first Mario party with the new controllers. Imagine what could happen with DDR games?
- techietown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I assume he means by next christmas...but as for the scans they're from the latest issue of Nintendo Power, can hardly wait!
- Psykus, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors, Rumors......
Marked as lame...
Not news. - Psykus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0k, so I didn't realize they were magazine scans.
I'd take this with a grain of salt though. - techietown, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0oh yeah...anything rev related until May. 9th(E3) should be taken with bags of salt...
- SuperNick, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I LOL'd
I can't believe this got front page. - Psykus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I also think the reason Nintendo gave for the delay was to add polish to the game, and add more areas and stuff. I really think they'd rather focus on getting the game done, and fine tuning it, rather than adding support for a whole new type of controller.
