- rousehouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I had one. My brother, sister and I used to play for hours and hours. At the time, Pong was the sh*t.

You got to love the idiot proofing they filled this manual with. - RevnCliffie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I remember back in my day we had to get up and flip a switch in the back of the TV to play video games. Darn kids and s-video in.
- Sell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0everything in that manual seems like common sense today but back then that was some high tech ***** and we were all like apes compared to it, lol. I bet you'd find the same stupid directions in an X-box manual or any game system today but no one reads them anymore.
- terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My parents bought one of these when it came out.Loads of fun at the time.
- eng69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sweet! i actually bought one of these at a rummage sale last year. it doens't work too well, someday i'll fix it. now with this manual, i'll know how to use it! thanks!

Hell yeah. I also remember needing a screwdriver to attach the adapter to the UHF dealie, and having to turn to a certain UHF station.
UHF. Remember when Fox started out on like 68 UHF stations?. Good god I'm old. - reggiedarden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Damn you Albertpacino!!!! I was going to post this earlier but I had a second thought as to whether or not anyone would be interested in it plus it was on boingboing.net. O well it's all good. :-)
Go pong!!! I remember the hours my brother and I wasted on that game. - ziffel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"UHF. Remember when Fox started out on like 68 UHF stations?. Good god I'm old."
You and me both, brother. I also rememember ESPN starting up in 1979, and broadcasting stuff like horse jumping and austrailian rules football, and nobody knew who they were.
I also had a first-gen Pong system, and I was hot stuff on my block. We also had our neighborhood's first microwave oven, and VHS recorder. My dad was cool :-) - gatorsrule21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol i noticed the pour liquid into the speaker things too
- Dispersion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0=Eh? Pong came out in the arcades in 1972. This Manual is for the Home TV version.=
Look out, Columbo is on the case! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The link on the bottom of the page "1975-6 Ridgid Tools Calendar" is much more interesting than this.
- thecoolestcow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"dammit! I should've read the manual first.
I actually poured liquids into the speaker opening... =("
Hahaha, I actually laughed aloud on that one. - siouxmoux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Eh? Pong came out in the arcades in 1972. This Manual is for the Home TV version.

- RevnCliffie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is it possible to be leet with a paddle controller?
- terafunker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That radial pong is awesome! Why haven't video games, and I mean this very generally, become any more entertaining? I mean, I have a Nintendo DS, PSP, PS2, and all kinds of older systems, and yet I find radial pong more interesting than most games on those consoles. Well, at least there's Super Mario Bros. and We Love Katamari!
- gaspero1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Remember when Fox started out on like 68 UHF stations?"
Remember life without Fox? Ah, good times. - spikebuddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My Mom and Dad still have ours. It's in the original box back at their house. LOL!
- Lostcosmos, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Do Not: Pour Liquid into speaker opening." Nuts, I knew I should have read the manual first.
