    What in the samhill is happening? It couldn't be a bug in the dashboard, could it? Pretty large defect. People commenting on "M$ BUGZOMG no zecurity" need not apply.

      #7: Dashboard timeout fix - If when booting a backup game, and the dashboard displays OPEN TRAY, you just need to press the EJECT button, the tray will stay CLOSED, but the dashboard will "auto-trick" into reading the game!

  • acemilo, on 10/12/2007, -14/+8Innaccurate. All this is is showing you how to fool the hitachi drive into getting more time to read a copy since those drives take longer to read discs when you already flashed the firmware. This doesn't show you how to boot a copy without the drive being hacked.

    Show me how to do this on a sealed XBOX 360 without any firmware or software patches and I'll be impressed.

    Pirates love it, if that's your thing, and homebrew people will love it once they advance to that level. We want the 360 to get hacked up, so why are people happy to see the xbox hackers get messed with?
