- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+48DS and PSP were deeply in love and saw a bright future ahead of themselves. But tragically PSP's father the evil Sony wanted PSP to become a nun and forced her into a convent where she could only read the approved books of the church.

- nymphetamine, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30damn, that guy better have gotten an A on that school project.
- Grumbleberries, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19This sounds like the beginning of a beautiful relationship. I love the idea! Sounds like it could really end up having some cool ideas and what have you. Homebrew cross-application gaming could be very popular with the right crowd of people.

- The_Decryptor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8"but I don't really understand the applications this can have."
Well, this would allow a FPS made for the DS and PSP to allow games between DS and PSP users, just using the WiFi.
For example. - trogdoor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If the site goes down it was a post on a forum and the author of the app wrote:
"HI
I just somewhat finished my first DS app. Thanks to El_Hobito's PA_Lib Wifi Setup App, I was able to quickly code something up..
I had to do this for a school project, and I got enough done for that.. The code is really messy, and all IPs are hardcoded.. I am not sure when or if I'll actually finish it, but it does work..
So you can check it out, and play tic tac toe using WIFI. On my site I also posted the PSP code too, so you can play a game against someone with a psp!"
And linked to his own page mirrored here http://trogdoor.googlepages.com/tictactoe.htm - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7finally we will all find out which input system is superior, i challange you psp users to a game of o's and x's!!!

Cool anyway. - bede, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This does look cool, and major kudos to the person who did it (a school project?? Wish I'd gone to a school like that).
It's a shame Sony and Nintendo seem to have missed the potential for something like this. - slackerbox, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Uh, the DS/PSP connectivity hasn't even been finished yet, and the screenshot isn't of the two playing with each other. This headline is pretty misleading.
- GameCop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Well, it's a start. :P
- mc1123, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5gotta start somewhere, and t-t-t isn't that bad. The premise isn't that original, but the replay value is great!
- kolavar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3"play nintendo ds AGAINST a sony psp"
not "play nintendo ds ON a sony psp"
RTFA, thanks. WoW is rotting your brain. - Massif, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Wargames? Actually it's "Shall we play a game?"
- zoid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5---Would you like to play a ..game---
- James35, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Looks good , Would love to try it out :)
- STKD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2In reply to the reply to my post; Homebrew? I believe I said *games*. Which it doesn't. Hence most people resorting to the "oh but but the homebrew is goooood!!" whines.
- James35, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Well you need to start somewhere .
- B0SS, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Its Just Cool man! nice :) really looking forword to to some development on the psp.
cheers for posting the code :)
http://www.wagonbutterworth.com/projects/nds/tictactoe/ - j0keR, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Yeah, this is cool. I wish I could test it out, but sadly Sony has crippled my PSP.
- diggcommentguy, on 01/05/2009, -0/+1but they have the buttons right on the front!
- PwnisherX, on 10/12/2007, -8/+9DS will win each time, PSP will be too busy still loading.
- iq_132, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2That's some pretty neat stuff :)
- daneberryman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2sounds like a cool idea.i dont own either but its nice to seem people are creating such things

PSP Accessories - http://astore.amazon.com/pspaccessories-20 - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I say the best game out for the psp is still lumines. Never before has a game made me pull an all nighter (almost two)
- HumanIce, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0@ Samus
PSP is great for 2D metroid gaming, since you're a fan of metroid like me, and I personally think DS is homer simpson, I dunno about PSP.. but DS has the lames 3D graphics I've ever seen, and even turn SLOW when it comes to few parts in metroid hunters..
but DS has mario games and stuff by nintendo, that's why everyone love DS, and also the reason why I bought DS..
but PSP is really more fun than DS.. I've been a PSP fan for 1 & half year, and still love the PSP, and that's because it can play PS1 games too, that is just awesome.. now I can finally play resident evil 2 & 3 portable also all the PS1 games I played in my child age, and I also think DS is so lame that capcom can't even make an resident evil 2 DS without being slow as hell.. but I have a DS lite, so I know how you DS guys feel, and I bet you don't have anything to do right now..
but its still great to have DS, you can play mario kart online and stuff.. but I can't even imagine how it is if my PSP would get broken, I would feel very bad, and I'd need to buy PSP with the money I'm gonna use to buy Wii..
but that is just what I think.. you can give my comment a - or +, I'm just telling what I think about DS and PSP since I have both.. - cwcheang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1dugg-
for the effort.
very well done - NiceGuyVan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It does, has since the day it launched. I myself own 16 PSP games. Have over 5 on preorder
- STKD, on 10/12/2007, -13/+12Now, if only the PSP had any games worth playing...
- deepsub, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Coming soon... DS/PSP virii.
- davidv, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5I'll dig, but I don't really understand the applications this can have. I mean would cross platform tetris really be that important? Or wait, is it possible to play DS roms on the psp yet? A wifi game of mario kart vs somone on the psp sounds like a fun goal.
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Lies, PSP load times are short. Especially on homebrew. Then again I run all my games off the memstick, UMD sucks.
- Agret, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2So try it out already?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+4@koshak,
only if the male was Homer Simpson and the female was Monica Belluci. - davidrsmith, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0this looks great, now i want to see more cross platform gaming devices, where we can use a DS or a PSP...kudos
- dtbond, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Tic Tac Toe, come on,,,,,,,,,,,,,
- ContentHoldings, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0question: where is the code for the PSP? all that is on that site is arm7 and arm9 code (for nds.) There is no psp code anywhere, nor any eboot to do this.
- gtvwill, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2And so being the flaming. In reply to the item originally posted, it shows allot of potential for homebrew apps.
- Leo55, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2I understand why devs might wanna use such features for possible MMOs (portable WOW anyone?)
but what is point if you wanna use it to play mario kart on the PSP?
Mario + PSP = bad news - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -36/+13PSP would CLEARLY be the male and Nintendo would be the female in the relationship.
