PlayStation 3 for $10! Holy crap! I can't belie-- wait a minute.

destructoid.com — Maybe a PS3 is a little out of your price range, as it is mine -- but there's hope. Fortunately, some kind souls from Hong Kong have created a low-cost, high-sexy revision of the PS3 which, incidentally, only plays Famicom carts and has wired controllers. Also no Blu-Ray. Oh, and you can't connect it to the internet. Oh, it's a Famicom clone.

  • khyberkitsune, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What's sad is that none of them realize a copper bus in solid-state media like the old NES/SNES was faster with loading, and nowdays we're coming up with smaller chips, nwe technology that'll make Flash look like 1.44 floppies..

    Solid state is the way to go. Create a native data transfer bus, and you've got near-instant load times and enjoyment.

    Too bad they're all moving towards optical media when we're about to have solid-state NVRAM that'll beat the ***** out of optical media, using the EXACT SAME TECHNOLOGY.

How can you tell? look at the type, there's no perspective distortion, just rotation, and also the red colored band at the bottom of the unit has a very unreal blend on it. Total amateur photoshop job on a real product.
