Wow, it must be tough going through life without the ability to enjoy the little things.
I think it's cool.

http://sixspace.com/gallery/invader2005/ - cool4u2view, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It makes everything so much easier when you restick all the stickers to their proper places...
- billobo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2An amazing display of talent. I can't solve one of those things, let alone recreate Mario. I would be disappointed if the person cheated though. Otherwise, really cool.
Dugg. - Morph_Ball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh, that kicks a major amount of butt.
+Dugg ftw. - Pureeviljester, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think it's awesome.
Dugged it. - Timsher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"It makes everything so much easier when you restick all the stickers to their proper places..."
Actually it's easier still to take the cube apart and put it back together again "fixed." (not that I've ever done that ;) ) - Mexrocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that is just AWESOME
- msgmsg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1digged
because that is just too awesome - zone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I find it easier/cheaper to just rip the whole thing apart and arrange em manually (the last piece is the trickier one)
- CaptSnuffy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Invader is the man
- MattZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1that ***** is pro
- Slavakion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Holy crap those are expensive. This one for $800? http://sixspace.com/gallery/invader2005/preview/orbi.jpg
Give me the cubes, $30 and an afternoon, and I'll replicate it for you. - Omar12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1pretty cool!
I digg it! - dori, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i wanna see the bowser one behind it!
- FlyingAvatar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Once you learn how to solve a cube, putting them in differnet configurations isn't too hard. It's just a matter of visualizing the desired design to what a normal solved cube would be. I have a few friends who are good at this and can produce a desired pattern in a minute or two. I haven't moved beyond being able to do just a normal solution myself. (And I don't really have the desire to go further.)
$800 isn't such a bad price considering all the work involved. Also, the cubes in that pic (54 by my quick count) would cost $540 retail, and still be worth about $300 or so if you sold them on E-Bay.
slavakion, hopefully a whole afternoon would be worth more to you than $30. :) I would guess solving and arranging 54 cubes would take a minimum of two hours if you're REALLY good. Don't forget you have to solve a bunch of different ways. A fair amount time would have to be spent planning it out to achieve such a time. - Fieri, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Masterfully done. Dugg
- hater2win, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Lol, I'm going to buy one of those.
- zenghost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1thats awesome, and time-consuming...+digg
- ctc803, on 07/08/2009, -0/+1I wouldn't want to ask for an xbox 360 and get this instead.. haha
- Dragular, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Also, the cubes in that pic (54 by my quick count) would cost $540 retail"
While I get your point... please tell me you aren't paying $10 for a cube? You can pick them up at wally world for 4-5 bucks. - Blackvaine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1yes! old school... gotta love it!
- the-rip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow, somebidy has way to much spare time
- Slavakion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1in the mario one, yes. 56 cubes. Not the one I posted a link to.
- fordistumley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Very impressive. I can digg it.
- AdamCo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"While I get your point... please tell me you aren't paying $10 for a cube? You can pick them up at wally world for 4-5 bucks."
They are 10$ at walmart, I just got one less than a month ago at walmart. - yogurtslinger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1weeeee a whole group of people that can't count, there are 56 cubes there
- possum, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1is that a uber geek prerequisite?
- Slavakion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1>>I could "solve" those in ten minutes
I meant all of the cubes in ten minutes total. - Nu_Metalz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I could do that...but I wouldn't...Because I'm lazy...
Dugg - t35t0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1art is art, so digg, but this guy just has too much time on his hands, or is a visual iq genius, or he replanted the stickers.
- Slavakion, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1FlyingAvatar:
In the pic I linked, there are only 12 cubes. So $120 plus whatever for what holds it together. $200 tops (unless he used like gold dust adhesive).
I saw no discernable pattern on the other faces of the cubes, so I'm assuming that only the front faces are important. I could "solve" those in ten minutes. I gave an afternoon only because I assumed adhesive would be drying. Not exactly a big investment of my time, and hey, $30. :) - jtjwsnake, on 06/22/2008, -0/+0haha definitely. if i can copy a scrambled cube i think i can copy any of this stuff.
if it was cheaper, id buy it and tear it apart just to play with the cubes haha! - pHr34kY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I could make one quicker using my patented 'Sticker Relocation' technique.
I still digg it nonetheless. - sebastiangomez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I guess we have even more time to waste writing about it. HAHA!
- Crazyguy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awsome
- Jeppy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think it is cool....I don't have the talent to come up with something so original so I think it is cool when someone else does it.....I "DIGG" it....
- EyeDye, on 10/12/2007, -0/+01400 diggs after 27 hours, not bad for my first post, eh? :)
- z0rz, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'd have to bet someone cheated. I used to use a program to solve rubik's cubes before I could. You can create your own design and it'd find a way to get that pattern. It's still really cool. I've always had a rubik's cube fetish.
