- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+36Note: this "hack" requires the Undiluted Platinum modchip, so it's not just as easy as installing some software
- Krmby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15You are right about that. I should write the requirements. Sorry My mistake.
- topato, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Also important to keep in mind that it is an $80 modchip.
- Tsukari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12I ran ISO's but of games I owned, because they load faster and I don't have to listen to that annoying whine as the umd spins... Plus it runs cooler that way.
- nao65536, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7 The song is called "Prodigy - Voodoo People (Pendulum Remix)"
- Krmby, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6LocoRoco is not homebrew and also running LocoRoco is not required. LocoRoco need 2.7 or higher FW so running that is an evidence for the firmware version.
- ozid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4what song is that?
- Bootes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5You don't need 2.7 to run Loco Roco. I'm playing it on my 1.5 PSP right now. :)
- blueigloo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Got enough !'s ?
- sneakerelph, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3or you could buy another PSP for abour that much.
- Bootes, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3There are plenty of people in the mod community that just want homebrew. I'll admit that I'm not one of them. :) However Epsilon is obviously not one of them either. Like many of the other hacks, it's equally for homebrew support as it is for running ISOs, because Sony tries to stop both and advances in one area usually helps the other.

- walkingcrow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I should be getting mine tomarrow!
- zaid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2How do you check what revision your PSP is?
- zaid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thanks for the image...and...WOOHOO, NO TEXT!

EDIT: Damn got there before me =[ - FalconR6, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wouldnt really cool don’t get me wrong, I own a psp and would love to do this but having to put in a mod chip to run iso's is too much work for the average person. I know Sony has to protect there property like games and such but if they made it a biteasierr to load moves, music, and pictures on to the psp I think allot more people would think about buying one. (A few more good games wouldn’t hurt either)
- NGliam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Saw this on pspupdates, looks great but I'm not sure if I want to get my PSP chipped :P
- rawnnie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I got a TA-082 PSP machine..that means Undiluted Platinum won't work for my machine :( Any more unlucky souls out there with the same kind of machine as me? :(
- NatsuMatto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't care all that much about running ISO files... I just want to be able to keep running homebrew apps on my PSP. Right now I am at 2.0 firmware, and haven't been able to play lots of the newest, BEST games for the system because I am too worried about giving up homebrew forever. The only worry about this is...well, the cost, obviously... but I can just imagine Sony somehow being able to figure a way to brick PSPs they detect with this modchip or something... sigh. Damn technology.
- zaid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I thought what you did with the Undiluted Platinum was boot into an older firmware (like 1.5) to get your homebrews/ISO's, and boot back into current firmware to play games and do whatever else...this looks like this is going on without any reboots, so no change in firmware...is this a custom firmware that allows this?
- SilentPurity, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wth?
- Darth_tater, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2this vide had a custom firmware, the episolon team took out the bloack that prevent homebrew/iso's from being loaded, while still keeping all the features oi 2.71
- GamerX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can check, without voiding warranty, if your PSP is TA-082 (incompatible) by opening UMD slot and looking at the PCB. Check http://www.maxconsole.net/content_img/ta82spot.jpg. If you read "IC1003", bad luck, you've got TA-082. At first instance, if you can't read "IC1003", your PSP is Undiluted Platinum compatible. BTW, anyone knows a way to check before buying? :)
- Dymphna, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I have both, should I return my PSP, apparently I was only allowed to get one, according to you.
- satori3000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1great version, who remixed it, was it Liam going back and re-doing his old stuff?
- xyqxyq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@sahaskatta
if they wanted homebrew they wouldn't have upgraded to begin with.
Think for a second. Not everybody knew about homebrew at the time they bought their psp. More obvious, though, is the fact that SONY DOESN'T SELL 1.5 PSPs ANYMORE! Not everybody was granted with the luxury of getting to buy a 1.5 (or 2.0, which can be downgraded) firmware psp. - FreddieD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0$80 is a kick in the nuts, but if I had a PSP with firmware v2.01 or higher I wouldn't have much choice.
- RenaChan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0$200 for a mod chip + instillation (because I suck at soldering) might be a little steep but I will pay it to get home brew on my psp again.
- SDGHOST, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Anything to make the prices higher to buy games......
Not allot of games out that are worth it anyways. 1 more thing the PSP cost me $300 to buy
if I screw it up then I lose in the long run. - npsken, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1No. Watch the whole video. I think running loco roco was required.
- SinnerChrono, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Will this work on a import WHITE PSP?
- pdboddy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Its in the system settings somewhere, "Version Number" or somesuch.
- sewerhobo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'd like to know the same
Seconded - cuervoman914, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1listen, the mod comm. calls sony greedy bastards and then they turn around and make mod chips to run homebrew (aka ISO's, granted some emulators and some cool stuff, like calculator) if you admit that youre cheap and dont got the funds to buyin the damn game, then ill reconsider, for now both of you are the same.
- zaid, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Why, do you think all those great online experiences you have with your psp will not be able to work? /sarcasm
- Scott2, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0OMGWTFBBQ!!!
- Haroldx, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Running LocoRoco is homebrew?
- batmant, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4i agree. my frustration is there is nothing worth buying.
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -15/+7now if people only bought the psp instead of getting a ds this would be news!
- somesthetic, on 10/12/2007, -16/+5I have nothing against the homebrew community, but when youre just using it to run ISO's instead of buying games youre a lame cheapskate.
- sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -17/+1i dont think anyone would want to mod their psp just to be running 2.71 and doing homebrew. the chances of screwing up your psp are pretty high if you do this and secondly if they wanted homebrew they wouldn't have upgraded to begin with.
