- esotericguy, on 10/11/2007, -16/+48The PSP, IMO, is the most underrated gizmo out there.
- ViRaZ, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18Metal Gear Solid : Portable Ops
I want to play it but can't afford a $170 PSP, plus the $40 for the game. - ACrazyGerman, on 10/11/2007, -3/+17Sorry for the comment abuse.

- ACrazyGerman, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13I am waiting to see God of War on it those screens shots looked "Dead Sexy".
- seventoes, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13It doesnt matter to me how many UMD games are released, i got myself emulators for (S)NES, N64, MAME, and tons of other crap.
OE ftw! - ACrazyGerman, on 10/11/2007, -5/+14http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gamecube/
Pick one. - KnightMareInc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9I want to play Metal Gear for the PSP, thats it.
- NeoTechni, on 10/11/2007, -6/+14" just that you only get 6-10 titles a year,"
Which is more than I buy for other systems - ZippidyDoo, on 10/11/2007, -2/+10Instead of posting that link, you should try them out ACrazyGerman. None are decent and are difficult to get running well with what limited games work in the first place.
- Hootyea, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Don't whine about grammar if you're too lazy to capitalize 'I'.

Yeah that really helps when he doesn't even have a PSP. - Darksaber11, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Hey, I might finally have the chance to play Loco Roco. I'm not really a fan of mobile gaming, so I wouldn't but a PSP, but damn is that game fun.
- DeFex, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6you can emulate windows Screenshots on a PSP? COOL
PSP is pretty cool for a sony thingy. now they are getting cheaper i might get one - ShrimpCrackers, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5TocsinFilms
You're right about the loner part except that Metal Gear for the PSP doesn't feature SOLID SNAKE. It features NAKED SNAKE / BIG BOSS. - h4mx0r, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5SD Gundam G Generation Portable.
Imports take too much and I don't have a large enough memory stick either. - memoBug, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5Sony hobbled their PSP by:
1) Selling games on slow loading UMDs
2) Preventing user video from accessing the full resolution of the display... to make their UMD releases look better.
3) Never releasing the USB keyboard that would have made it a great Internet device... to make their MIVO Email Device look better (and refusing to release the code to let anyone else make one for it)
4) Continually blocking and reblocking homebrew - Cyber_Akuma, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4"Perfect for those who cant afford a PSP but want to know what all the fuss is about with the Homebrew Community on the PSP."
Right, im sure people can't wait to play an emulator within an emulator that requires a top of the line desktop to emulate a portable system.
Methinks people would prefer to use this to play PSP games instead of PSP homebrew. - Blah_Blah_Blah, on 10/11/2007, -5/+8and those 6-10 titles arent exaclty must-haves. I still only have Lumines.
- Majin_Raditz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4Cool, but I want a DS Emu that has 98% compatibility like VBA or ZSNES.
- emehrkay, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5I finally might get a chance to play psp
- Brian48216, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5I'm actually excited. I hope I can play Lumines on this soon without having to look at a tiny screen all day...
- dackerman, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Emulation is always exciting...this looks promising.
- carlosgames, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4Emulation is like masturbation
.... feels good but for real is always better :) - nobiology, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3pick it up for the ps2
- Suruxia, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2That's cool and all, but also on that site they tell you how to mod a PSP, which is a much better choice imho.
- NeoTechni, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Well, I used BOCHs once and emulated windows 95 for a day
- modtho, on 01/17/2009, -0/+1Right, im sure people can't wait to play an emulator within an emulator that requires a top of the line desktop to emulate a portable system.

Homebrew is blocked to block piracy, which developers MAKE Sony do. Or they won't make games for PSP.
There is no code for a USB keyboard for PSP in the firmware, thats why it was never released.
http://pspgames247.com - disruptor108, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I agree, that's what I thought too...like you could take screenshots on the PSP now?
- caddyalan, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I wanted to like Tales of Eternia, but it was just a slightly enhanced port of a PS1 game. The dubbed voices weren't great in 2001, and they weren't great in 2005.
- potterboy, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3im sorry, your right. he should have said he wanted to play a real lumines game.
- mykos, on 10/11/2007, -2/+2Heh...I know what the chances are that I will be using this emulator for homebrew when it matures.
- Armonk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Very sweet. Hope you also have support for Monster Hunter Freedom!
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Games are sold on UMD to lower publishing costs, the same reason games are released on optical mediums for other systems.

- heinousjay, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Yay for PSP homebrew, which apparently translates as "clones of old/simple commercial games." Beautiful. The "it's not for piracy, it's for homebrew" excuse looks like a pretty transparent lie to me now.
- noxa, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0The latest builds are looking a lot better, btw ^_^
http://code.google.com/p/pspplayer/wiki/Screenshots - sharpiemarker, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0I just want to know what firmware its running...
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -1/+0Emulation is great and i hope this works!
- aspec, on 10/11/2007, -8/+5No one doubts that the PSP is definitely the most powerful handheld out there, just that you only get 6-10 titles a year, and Gran Turismo is still AWOL (the reason I bought AND sold my PSP)
- ThatEvilGuy, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1He should've called it "PSPlayer" not "PSP Player"
- themastersb, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1Download link anyone? (I'm lazy)
- Ocelot13, on 10/11/2007, -9/+4i can play Lumines on m tv via XBLA
- ghaltmann, on 10/11/2007, -11/+5i wish people would learn how to headline. As it reads now, I was thinking the article was an emulator of PSP software that takes screenshots... I know it's dumb but that's how it reads.
- Nightenglow, on 10/11/2007, -6/+0Why is this news, a piece of plastic who gives a *****
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -9/+2It sucked. It was a completely different Metal Gear than all the rest, meaning that it sucked. It was all in teams, and everyone knows that Solid Snake works alone. It was horrible.
If you want to play it just download an iso, I upped one on Demonoid when it was released. ***** buying it. - dewyjuhl, on 10/11/2007, -10/+3why would you want that? The psp is great because it is portable, just buy a ps2 practically all its games are ports anyways. The same goes for homebrew, its really cool because you can take an entire snes library anywhere you go, but there are much simpler easier to use emulators for the pc. Why add another step to the process?
- Alphabet, on 10/11/2007, -13/+4there's only like 5 good psp games. I bet no one can name more than 5.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -18/+6And we still don't have a decent Gamecube emulator.
