- TKDWILSON, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I aparently haven't been keeping up. What exactly can you do on a psp other than gamming? I am not much of a gammer. Would it be worth buying for web surfing and such on the go?
Eric Wilson - G-RaZoR, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh man this 1.5 psp ROCKS! Check out my Techni No Mon browser, it's almost exactly like your 2.00 browser (damn japanese).
- m.sandstorm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I already updated using the all region. No problems here.
- DeVryGuy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+02.0 DOES rock :)
- deoxymoron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0They are a little bit too late on this one. 2.0 rocks! :-D
- RNekic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It seems to work just fine on my US PSP. Although, the browser is really freakin' slow. I'm also using the new WPA support. Would that have a significant impact on the browser speed? Hmmm...
- snyy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wpa would slow the browser alot
- brbubba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ha ha, Neil is just mad because he posted the same story and his version got shoved to the wayside.
- brbubba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WTF IGN? After you posted the update to your website. Warranted Sony waited a day or two before posting that warning on the Japanese site. My update went without a hitch and works fine. However, WPA is a no show on mine. Only way I can get it to work is by using an open network without encryption. Also for the other guy, my browser is also slow when it comes to loading up pages even without encryption.
- bluehouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I installed it and it works like a charm
- fredzlah, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lol thats true
- dizastar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0My PSP hasnt had a problem, running the web browser is sweet and all my cames work.
- GladHeAter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah calm down people. Just because they finally released some features worth upgrading for and the update works perfectly fine doesn't mean you should use this update. Wait a couple more weeks until Big Brother, I mean Sony tells you to update. Don't run homebrew on your PSP. Don't run updates until we tell you to. WTF do you expect from us Sony?
- SupaDawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0uh-oh. dup police again...
find something better to do with your time. - Neil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0DUP

If I wasn't a gamer I would probably buy the PSP for UMD Videos and use it as an MP3 player - Smoktiludy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WPA must affect the speed slightly if they still don't allow it to work with online gaming through the PSP.
- TheIguana, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WTH is the point is having an update only offered for one region of PSP. If Sony wants to offer updates they need to release the same update everywhere at the same time, none of this different regions *****.
Iggy #hmm - bloodyartist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0update works fine....
the only advantage to waiting for the official US version is maybe a few tweaks here and there? Hopefully anywayz.... :oP - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's a fine browser, I'm becoming attached to the messed up cell phone like imput. My portal pspon.blogspot.com
- AaronD12, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0No problems with 2.0 here either. I like the enhancements!
- SamJackson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Is there really region encoding for firmware? I mean come on it's a little late now for Sony to come and say something. Besides I don't think Sony knows jack about their customers, and their products to begin with. My PSP device works like a charm after the 2.0 upgrade, plays all my movies, games, videos, etc. I even made a couple wallpapers in the correct screen resolution (480x272) just to play around with the wallpaper feature. I really don't think there is anything to worry about.
- walkerwayne, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Web browser and other features work OK for me, but damn it loads web pages slow as s**t........
