- cockmaster, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15dont worry, we're amused by your stupidity too.
- Dibbz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Erm actually this had nothing to do with Sony. The owner of the store simply used the 360 to hold up the cardboard but out here. http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=14375, atleast according to that article.
- Sp4nk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Inaccurate. Dumb. Buried.
- threepio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7The merchandisers in the store are responsible for the placement and maintenance of the assets at the store level. Sony, along with other manufacturers, does spot checks to ensure compliance. You can be sure that this is setup has not been through any spot checks and will not exist in its current form after a spot check.
- altodarknight, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well, if it isn't released in Australia until march 23, then of course hey don't have any.
- Schrade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Not a Sony doing, it was the store.
For the real story, go here:

It has since been removed, of course. The Xbox360 was playing looping advertisements for the store, I believe. - Hale, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3If that's all it's being used for, why is it plugged in?
Apparently the X360 is so awesome it has time to parade around as a PS3 while fully functioning as an X360. I guess they finally found a use for that third core. - EvilFerret, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1360s are everywhere, I've seen many stores that use 360 boxes to lift other displays.

Here is the real story. - OneAMCoffee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hasn't anyone noticed the 360 is actually hooked up too! I think its playing a video, but then again, why not use a PS3 to hold up a PS3 sign instead of a 360 holding it up?
- RobotKing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I wonder what they are building on Reservoir Street Surry Hills...
- MikeSobe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1this was already front page today... but with a better title
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0...yeah because the Sony execs and their private marketing team decided to put this together...dream on Sony haters. Whoever posted this and wrote the abstract is a real moron.
I'm tired of people saying "Sony did this" or "Sony did that" when it was just some other people...sometimes it isn't even directly related to a Sony decision, like in this stupid Digg article!
Going off of that, this may very well just be 100% staged? Anyone ever thought of that? Nope, as long as it says "Sony" on it and something bad happened, it's the entire company's fault. - hiredgoon, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2There's a problem with your link (remove the comma from the string). I realise that Sony isn't directly responsible for the display, but surely they'd be responsible for supplying appropriate artwork and display media to use...
oh and i'm the "One smart customer" they're referring to in that article :) - DeaconKnowledge, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Excellent Social Commentary
- zepeda, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0 i guess if it say "pre-order yours today" they must not have any
- TheWorm, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3This made no sense to me....Why would they want people to think that there's an xbox underneath?
Am I missing something or is Sony really this dumb. - whiteguysamurai, on 10/12/2007, -15/+5LOL,
The flailing stupidity of sony just flat out amuses me.
