- inactive, on 07/02/2008, -1/+4We already knew it only works with games patched to use 2.40, are you retarded enough to complain after doing no research whatsoever?
- Suvo13, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2Where in that official walkthrough does he tell us about patching patching games in order to listen to our own music? Please show me. In any case how are they going to patch old PS2 games? I don't know about you, but I would like to listen to my music while playing MGS2 or God of War for that reason.
- PUNJABISINGH, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2freaking pissing me off, why cant they get this right we all have been patient with Sony and this is what we get.
- sasha7w, on 07/02/2008, -0/+2sony just doesn't learn.
- Zero2aHero, on 07/03/2008, -0/+2Well the video they posted on the playstation blog is very misleading. It shows a guy from Sony playing a game and lowering the volume on the game manually and then playing his own music. It gave the appearance that you can do that on any game.

Exactly my point! I have defend the Sony brand for years, but this is just stupid. When they announced the PS3 they promised features unavailable to Xbox 360 owners. Well it's been 2 years and we are STILL playing catch-up with the 360. It is funny how they bragged about the cell processor, how there are 8(or something) processors in the PS3, and they can't make one of them play music in the background.
Also the video on their official blog was really misleading, like Zero2aHero said earlier. - thavionhawk, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1I don't see why the games i have would not be able to support in game music, I Played GT5 Prologue, GTA4, Lair, RFOM, even Pixel Junk Monsters, nothing!!! I am a Linux Server Technician, and i am no novice with Play Station hardware having had every PS ever made short of the Japanese only PSX, plus the Linux kit for PS2, Linux on my PS3, Linux in a VM on my PSP and more. I don't see how it is hard to program a plug in feature that will just come up as an alt menu, I don't wont full in game XMB I wont Full in game Music and chat functions, with the option to review a new Trophy if i wont. Forget having the Video list and the Picture List, even the internet list. Just give me the Music Playback and the gamer interconnection that the PS3 is easily able to provide.
- juleon, on 07/02/2008, -2/+2*eye twitches* WHAT? that was all i wanted, and they couldnt do it. i am soooooooo pissed right now, im actually twitching.
- Suvo13, on 07/02/2008, -2/+2Same here! I just updated my blog entry with video proof of in-game music. It is so sad.
