You bring up Nintendo when this picture has absolutely nothing to do with Nintendo (and all of the so-called fanboys that apparently clog up every single discussion about next-gen consoles (Protip: Digg is not a great place for discussion. That's what forums are for.) and everything to do with most of the gaming community's view on the PS3 is right now. The title for this picture is plenty accurate, and if you don't like it, go somewhere else with your bitching. Spelling doesn't change with time. You either know how to spell a word or you don't. Accusing Firefox of not being able to catch your misspelling is a lame attempt at shifting the blame. Besides, Firefox DOES mark "cohearent" as incorrect. You just didn't bother to notice.

That's what's wrong with it. And besides, Sony lacks respect for the consumer. They seem to be turning that around, but they're taking their sweet ass time in doing so.

Prereq to rant: I own all last-gen systems, and many consoles before last-gen. We're talking Saturn, Virtual Boy, Gamegear, Turbo Duo, etc. Out of the current gen we have only the Wii. We're poor people, and my wife was lucky enough to land one for Christmas, so I'm not complaining. She wants a 360 pretty bad though. We don't consider ourselves fanboys, but your entitled to your opinion.
You know, I've never understood how people could say that the Gamecube was a crap-@ss system. Call me Fanboy if you want, but I have just as many Gamecube games as I do for the PS3 and original X-Box. I'm not talking about crummy titles either. Smash Bros., Windwaker, Ikaruga, Alien Hominid, Resident Evil 4, Phantasy Star On-Line Episode 1 & 2, and Double Dash just off the top of my head. To me, the cube was the first one to do wireless right. We have the wireless Logitec controllers for both the PS2 and the X-Box, and our Wavebirds spank them any day of the week. The only thing we can even use the wireless controllers for on our other systems is RPGs. Hell, when I have friends over, we give the best player in Halo the wireless controller to try to even it up. The lag is a fugging handicap.
The cube is a nifty little system. Durable as hell. I know people who've already replaced their X-Box numerous times. Once in a while I get disk-read errors with ours. Our PS2 Network adapter went out forever ago. Plus, for some reason the video connector in the back acts up from time to time, and you have to play around with it to get a good picture again. But our cube is still chugging along perfectly.
We have a Wii and I still find myself playing cube games when company comes over. We've got Wario Ware, Wii Sports (obviously), Monkeyball, and Rayman, and we still mostly play cube games. Just about every other week we have people over for Smash and it's always good times. Alien Hominid too, just for the platformer minigame, which is a blast with four people. The only other game that gets that kind of replay action is Halo. And PS2 games are almost never played with company. About the only one I play on PS2 is a Guncon/RPG called Elemental Gearbolt, and that is for sheer nift factor. If you've never seen the game, try to get your hands on it. It's good times. I seriously miss Working Designs.

The resistance: fall of man demo sucks, and the only other game I'd be interested in is COD3. But, I already have that for 360. The PS3's OS is lightyears behind the 360, it to me seems to be very rushed.
