Yet there you are, darryl, constantly posting your comments there.
While we're all playing our Wiis during the holidays, will you still be here spamming the Wii diggs as you bitterly await the spring thaw so you can pick up a PS3?
Sounds lonely... - prockcore, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7I've heard 10pm for any 24hr walmarts.
- russryba, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Would you could in a box?
Would you could with a fox? - billymachine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3That's really the key question, no matter how badly spelled. I don't want to camp out any longer than I have to, so at least a ballpark figure would be helpful. I camped Best Buy all night for the 360 launch and they waited until about two hours before store opening to give us our tickets. For some reason, it seems more organized this time around, though, which leaves me wondering...
- LastDays, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i'm gettign to walmart like 9 or so in the morning on saturday for the midnight release, playing it safe, i want a wii on launch! anyone else here headed to walmart in the morning for the wii?
- markingtime, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2well good for you
- aywwts4, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes, yes they will,
I confirmed in a town of 1500 they will have 23 - aywwts4, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Checked at three walmart supercenters near me, All three talked about a midnight launch, one person said their walmart has 23 wiis for sale.
- quantumslip, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I went to my local supercenter in Bryan, TX, and for the ps3 they said they would have a list to put down your name at 7am on the 16th, and every 30 min they would call your name, and if you aren't there, you're marked off the list. then at midnight, you'll get the ps3. To me though, this seems like what this particular store is doing; not sure about the others.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Can anyone confirm that all Wal-Marts will have Wii's?
I live in a small town (about 4,000 people), and don't want to have to drive for an hour to get to the closest city with a large population.
However, if they will be getting them in I probably won't have to worry about not getting one... :) - McZiggz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Mee too, I've checked my local wal-marts. They've all said they will have about 25 units for launch.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of everyone's lines @ http://wiiwanttherevolution.com - eric1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Why is Red Steel released 11/16 according to the ad? Can I pick it up and read the manual early?
- eric1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2The Wii might not be too bad to get ahold of, but just because they give out tickets at 10pm (assuming they do) doesn't mean you'll necessarily get one. I plan on picking up Final Fantasy 3 DS and playing it while I wait in line no later than 4-5 hours before they sell the console. I don't want to miss a chance to have a Wii launch day.
- topbob, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2don't. buy. from. wal. mart.
- damonlab, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I will not, and have not, ever bought a console on launch day.
I will not, and have not, ever shopped at a WalMart. - Sw33t4ngel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I work at a Wal-Mart Supercenter in South Carolina, and I haven't heard any Wii or PS3 numbers yet, but I am working on finding out.I logged on the wire and saw the Wii Playbook with the directions and tickets that will be given. Nothing on the PS3 yet. I think I might go to another store if I am going to camp, because my Wal-Mart has the biggest idiot managers ever. We camped out the 360, and the XBOX rep was there and said they were supposed to give out tickets and they didn't we were 3rd in line, and just ended up making our own sign in sheet, which they didn't even go by. Wal-Mart can be really retarded sometimes, but yay for 10% discount. :)
- xrisnothing, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2hook 'em horns
- shredomatic, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Sounds good. I wonder what time people are going to start lining up for tickets. Friday night?
- Splitt3rxx, on 10/12/2007, -10/+3when will tehy hand outn tickets? at what time?
