- DustoMan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Why is this only in SD? Screw HDD space! I want this in 720p!!!
- GeneralFailure0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Too bad you have horrible taste.
So say we all! - mkjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Calm down. The future will bring some kind of HD upgrade. I am guessing around 200gb with support to download full games helping the cost go down.
Then all they need to do is allow us to buy TV shows using Microsoft points and we can all throw away our TiVos. - Jaymoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6@Tensenki:
You must not have looked at the marketplace lately. There are 1GB+ demos that are available, as well as tons of videos.
Bandwidth is not a problem. Speeds can be, but I have a feeling Microsoft can pay their bills. - Vill4no, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It isn't an actual episode it's just a recap of the past 2 seasons.
- Lumbeekid06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5your gettin a little excited, but for the conversation purposes sure why not?
- mkjones, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5They already allow the downloading of full Via Piniata episodes, not that it does anyone with half a brain any good to know, but hey, its a start ;-)
Plus you can really makle 20gbs strech if your loose with the Demo downloads :-p - Lumbeekid06, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5well you got two options for that
1. XBMC now has this app that will let you play ANY file format, including MP4
2. Wait for a bigger HD, you know one will come, just when? - haruharukitty, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Well, you can download BSG on the net and it will probably be easier and..free (not sure if they mentioned if this would be a free service) but then any promotion of BSG is a good one. Or at least this is how I perceive it.
- jgreene777, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3are you sure it's NOW?
- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Okay, Microsoft now is the time to hit us with the suprise 300GB hard drives we can buy.. well, maybe not 300 but 80gb minimum.
A HD version of this would be huge, it's scary. - quanta88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The producers are probably too skittish to give out a high-def version just yet. Giving away a TV show means walking away from potentially millions of dollars of advertising revenue.
- MurphyWonKenObi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Battlestar Galactica is the best Sci-Fi on TV today, anywhere.
Its hard to find a show with the production value, caliber of acting and a Story/plot that people can follow and relate to. Anybody who gives this show chance enjoys it, in some aspect or another. I've been sharing my DVDs of the show w/ coworkers and friends, and I get the same reaction. Spread the word about BSG diggers. Go watch yourself, tell a friend, get them to watch. You'll see. Keep this show on for a few more seasons. - MikeEFresh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Anyone know how many points it costs.
- Jeebugorn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3hmm, didnt know that. i did know that SciFi is pushing BSG as their premiere show.
- phoque, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Right.
- Conglomerate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah if you buy something it keeps a track of it and you can delete and re-downlaod as much as you want.
- LordRahl72, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Lumbeekid06, If you can put XBMC on my Xbox 360 I will call you GOD!
I love my XBMC on my modded xbox 1 but as far as I know high def videos are a no go on the Xbox 1. - slickrate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2once you download something on the 360 you own it right? so i could buy a live arcade game then when i need the space delete it and download it again at no charge if i want to right???
- broly1718, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Damnit. Its sd. I just got a vga adapter, and was excited for some bsg HD goodness.
- JustinT9669, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2...and XBMC can play any video you have on any size hard drive you want.
- zebwinz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2zero
- neocitron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is great news... Microsoft is moving in a good direction here... i just wish the Marketplace was more responsive and categorized a little more effectively.. I'd love to see a larger hard drive, at least 160Gigs for all this television stuff.
- Recoiler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Stargate SG-1's future could be here.
BTW, if you didn't know, SG-1 got cancelled on SciFi. They are looking at other places to air the show. - coldfusion1970, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg in the hope that they will do this for the UK market as well.
- jswensson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I can't find this anywhere on Xbox Live Marketplace. Isn't it available in Europe?
- computerdude33, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4We will call it: "Dig-Dug".
We'll make millions! - Soul_Shadow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Can you give me a link to the news that says SG-1 was cancelled because I don't believe that it got cancelled for one second.
- yankehoo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It's this kind of thinking that lets Microsoft think they are suceeding in creating their own currency.
- Soul_Shadow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Sorry, I found the link you were right. *cries*
- ZenFu, on 10/12/2007, -7/+5Meh. It's a good idea but the filesize is too big. I can get an ep of battlestar from Torrentspy at 340mbs easily.
The 360 needs to start supporting more codecs and formats like XBMC does. Otherwise people's hard drives are going to fill up VERY quickly once MS starts offering TV for download to the 360. - jordan1, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1its free *****
- rushiku, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2Golly gee, what will they think of next?
I know, maybe a place on the net that you can access with your Xbox where people can submit stories from around web, other people will 'shovel' the stories to get them on the 'top page', other people will post comments about those stories, and still other people will reply to those comments, in order to make a general nusiance of themselves.
Hurry up Microsoft, I can't wait. - ka0tic, on 10/12/2007, -26/+1Too bad this is a horrible show.
