I only had two stuck pixels on my SP, and I called nintendo about it. They offered to pay for shipping both ways and get me a replacement.
I opted to stop by the customer service center to get it quicker, since I lived near redmond, and they gave me a factory certified SP (basically a new one that they checked for dust and dead pixels). Nintendo has some of the best customer service I've seen. - allisonaxe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13why the thumbs-downing of the stuck pixel crowd? its a legitimate concern! mine has one too, and its making me very angry. i'm having the urge to throw it against the wall, only then it will never be covered by the warranty, and I'd probably put a hole in the wall: the thing has some heft to it!

if you're a sucker and pre-ordered it at EB or some other boutique store, they probably won't exchange it (the eb rep told me that their warranty only covers stuck pixels if there is a clump of 5 or more, which is *****.) here is how you can set up a repair with nintendo: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/repair/repair_form_us.jsp
you may need to register your serial number for the warranty to work. after filling out that form, it'll take 4-10 business days to recieve your UPS return label, and 3-4 more business days to repair it and return it.. so i guess i'll just have to play something else for the next couple weeks. - SilentPurity, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16You should be imprisoned.

They're EVERYWHERE in Chicago, just in case. I was hoping to see tons of people in line around the city and in the burbs, but it just isn't happening. I guess that's expected since the Lite basically is a prettier DS...

- Araya213, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Got mine too!! No stuck pixels or anything. I got screen protectors, Mario Bros., Hunters, and Big Brain. All are great games. Never played a ds before today and not the least bit dissapointed! I got bummed because the battery died, but after looking back at the time I had spent (7 hours) and the fact I played wifi for half an hour, it's pretty damn good battery life.

I had read on Joystiq or 4CR that it doesn't come with the thumb/wrist strap thing; Mine didn't have one either.

I like the black one too. It's interesting that Europe gets a black DS Lite, and Australia got their DS Lites on June 1st. I like that they're spreading the wealth, but why not make both available to everyone on the same day? Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is an awesome game. Definitely get it if you can find it. Its apparantly pretty hard to find now as its out of production. Amazingly i was able to get a copy when i got my DS Lite as one of the gamestop employees was holding the only used copy they had for himself and he let me have it.
New Super Mario Bros is a must-have, as is Sonic Rush if you liked the original Sonic games for the Genesis. - ipodman715, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I got mine at a local Toysrus store.
