- Jalada, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The reason it says Revolution/GameCube, is because the game will launch on the GameCube, but when you put it in your Revolution, you will get extra features (ie. being able to use that wand controller etc.).
- kurupt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wasn't there an article posted recently about Twilight Princess being for the Gamecube but also having compatibility with the Revolution controller?
- merdeisel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1its on the gamecube... you can see the button layout on the upper right corner. wish it was on the revo. i cant wait for this game.
- KAMiKAZOW, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Better have a look at http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=641
More vids (incl. this one with better quality) and no Googel Video Flash crap. - Tsuroerusu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1herting:
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's president, said in his E3 speech that "next generations of Mario and Zelda, are already under way", I suppose that's proof enough that they are working on something. - herting, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Don't suppose anyone knows if a Zelda title is being planned for the Revolution yet?
- DeadlyCouncil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Really old, but whatever. I'm just glad there's a new killer gmaecube that PS2 can't steal and turn into a piece of runny ***** (Resident Evil 4, anyone?)
- notkevin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Don't suppose anyone knows if a Zelda title is being planned for the Revolution yet?"
Its a Nintendo console, of course they are planning on having one. Zelda isn't typically a launch title. - Heiliger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And yes.. I enjoy typing "all" and "controller" more than I should... I am in the process of seeking help.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks okay to me, made no sense as this will be my first Zelda game.
Does not look as polished as final fantasy X did though - sangsara, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The Revolution will play Gamecube games, so you don't have to run out and buy a Gamecube now if you were planning on waiting anyway.
- xVern, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Don't suppose anyone knows if a Zelda title is being planned for the Revolution yet?"
Yeah, they have alreay started the planning for it. - Heiliger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, this is an old video.... from the E3 Roundtable demo back in May... HOWEVER, this IS the first time I have seen it available for streaming from somewhere that doesn't require a membership of some kind.... Back in may, I downloaded a bunch of segmented parts of this video and pieced them all together to watch it all in its entirety... not necessary anymore.
And yes, there is word that the Gamecube title is being developed with the controller of the backwards-compatible Revolution controller in mind.
Old video. New opportunity to watch it. VERY promising game title! Looking forward to May 2006! - vermin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks amazing. Probably gonna buy a gamecube for this.
- xelloss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks fun, good thing my sis got a Gamecube for Christmas^^.
- Arkitan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Good find, I hadn't seen this before, thanks for posting it.
- ehalo21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is kinda old it was show on Gamespot awhile back, during G.A.M.E
- WillyWonka, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I swear I've played that 3 headed boss in another zelda before. I just hope that they don't reuse the jump sound and sword swing again. The same audio has been used in the last 2 games and it's getting annoying.
- Kamatz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wow... never thought i would have to buy a gamecube for just one game. Good thing they're cheap now.
- DeathByWombat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Saw this months ago, but it's still just as awsome.
- ewingsquadron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Finally some footage? This has been around since E3.
- dangerboy13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yes, it says Revolution because they pushed the release date back so they could make the game compatible with the Rev controller and make it a back-compatible title, but it is a Gamecube game.
- Sirocco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome.
- tillythehun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0im glad its for the gamecube
don't have the money to get a revolution
haaa - bloodwings, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0spoilers.
ruined the game for me. - Anthraxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its ooooold, but still cool so digg. i cant believe people are giving credence to the whole tLoZ:TP for revo thing.
- wizpig64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0.......didnt i see this same video 7 months ago at e3?
they even went over the question of link not being a cowboy but a shepard.
am i crazy? - SecretPact, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0totally awesome! This better make the front page!
- CraigNobbs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wicked awesome... I so can't wait for this game to come out! (And it's for the NGC)
- pyronicflare, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is great and all but id like everyone to know this footage of him learning to ride epona was some of the first footage ever shown and is actually pretty old, probably about 2 years almost
- TimmyK., on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Wow... never thought i would have to buy a gamecube for just one game. Good thing they're cheap now."
Windwaker alone makes it worth having, not to mention Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Mario Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and many more. It's definitely worth the little bit of money that the system costs. - Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yee-haw
- n3tfury, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks bloody fantastic.
- SirThom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like it.
- kriegs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0can't wait !!
- silentauthority, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love zelda games.
- metacoola, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How bout someone make the official 2005 poll for digg only on which of the 3 consoles will you be getting if you only get one...I want to see how people are reacting to the 3? Anyone interested? I don't know a place to make polls..
Reply if you would want to vote on a thing like that. - furashi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0the grafiks are awesome. It's almost lilke next-gen. :)
- SoulVirus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh jebus,, I cant wait ...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0looks so nice
- veter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That game alone is worth $150 for the cube and game...
The funny thing is, the gamecube had 3 games of year this generation, and its possible next year will be a 4th. If the thing had more third party support and more bulk in the B-A ranged games, it would have been a monster of a system. - Eyot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WOW! incredibly diffrent then the N64 version! In a good way!
- DannyB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Looks very good.
I cannot even imagine why people are still wondering if this is going to be a Rev title. It's not, get over it. It's been stated MANY upon MANY times by the creators it will be for Gamecube. - Cerberus047, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0you know that a couple of weeks ago there was a story on digg that said that if you put the new zelda game on your revolution you CAN use the sweet controller with it and bonus stuff will be available...
- coreypsu33, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0WOWOWOWOWOW
- whitesanjuro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0wow, its almost as cool as it was back in august when i played it at pax...
- Ravenlock, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dug for being awesome, don't particularly care whether it's old.
- hibiscusroto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0seems to go without saying...but they already said it...revo controller will be integrated
go zelda - thekoan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0...still, looks quite good... am very much anticipating this title.
...i think they ~are~ planning a next-gen zelda, contrary to that earlier comment. i seem to remember some nintendo exec saying that twilight princess would be the last zelda of its kind or something to that effect.
...also... wouldn't be terribly surprised if they'd been delaying it to add revcontroller functionality... hell, i would... seems to go without saying. - tmcleroy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0yeah i saw this back in June after e3
