Nintendo Wii getting GTA.

randomnewz.blogspot.com — This is straight from a dev source within Rockstar. The Wii will be getting a port of GTA from the past titles that have hit the PS2. It looks like Reggie has struck gold and Nintendo can finally shed some of that "kiddie" image from the past.

    Seriously, these decisions aren't made overnight, as much as we wish they would be. Give them time to work out the logistics of the port and whether or not it's worth their efforts. If it's not, maybe instead it'd be easier to develop a new game for the Wii. These things are difficult decisions.. especially when 6 months in you've realized you've made the wrong one and need to start over.

    First, we have Kirashira submitting his OWN blog telling us this, and secondly, Rockstar would have no interest in porting old GTA games to the Wii. The Wii isn't an easily "portable" system considering the novel interface. If you're going to spend that kind of development money, why not put it towards a NEW Wii specific game?
