- nrfx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13I'm so incredibly jealous of japan.
- guitarh3ro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Come on NoA, where's our Club Nintendo?
- izzykaubaubau, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I logged in just to bury you. Go spam elsewhere!
- megashaun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You get three free issues of the completely non-biased gaming magazine, Nintendo Power, when you register 3 games or more with them. Oh and you get to download fugly wallpapers for the games you've registered. Awesome!
- LavaHot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Are you sure you're envious of Japan? American penis very big! Japanese penis very small (holds fingers together).
- pokemogu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'm a platinum member of Club Nintendo and recieved the announcement email yesterday from Nintendo. Yay!
- Korvaras, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Because it's cooool.
ps. Why Not? - SimonGray, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Not all of Europe, only the big countries =/
- goatswii, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It's funny how every Supercard flash user and console modder is whining about the freebies they don't get from NoA.
Yeah, you guys own every Zelda. Roms don't count. - modifiedbears, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I hope all the non-japanese Nintendo fanboys who jump to Nintendos defense in online forums see how your loyalty is appreciated.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1 They really ought to implement something like this in North America. The 3 free issues of NP and free wallpapers, screensavers and various downloads are nice. But I'd really like to get some of the goods the the Japanese are getting. It definatly would increase the amount of games purchases, which is where they earn the most money.
I personally woulnd't mind paying a $1-3 on each Nintendo purchase to pay for the items offered through this program. These are just awesome incentives, with the free "WiiMore (for your TV)" and now getting you Mii sketched on the back of the controller or a free DS game. Seems like us in North America are being ignored a bit. No blue DS lite, Pokemon games coming 8 months after Japanese release, no word on PBR, and the list goes on. Atleast they launch Wii here first. - ddrkeitaro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i know especially with the fact that we have all bought so many nintendo accessories for both the ds and the wii over the past 6 months
- pokemogu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"a ***** ton of money"
Not really. It requires 400 points to get some exclusives and buying 10 DS games a year is enough for that. - GamerGeorge, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Two things:
1) Nintendo of America sucks.
2) I wish I lived in Japan.
That is all. - dr00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I almost want to bury this out of pure jealousy, even if these two things pale in comparison to some of the other perks they've gotten over the years.
- Kevinok, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why don't we have this in America yet, it is simply ridiculous.
- LavaHot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And you'd be the tallest man in the country. In truth I whole heartedly agree with you.
- duzins, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Surely they'll hear the digg-outcry and implement this in the states? Heh heh.
- freehunter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Doesn't Europe have something like this as well? Not necessarily the imprinting of the faces, but the Club Nintendo where you get points to spend on things in the store? I wish NoA had this as well, kind of like XBL Achivements.
- Rangoth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats it. I'm moving to Japan.
- nickarodriguez, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You know that really makes me mad at Nintendo for excluding people who don't spend a ***** ton of money on then. I own just about every Zelda game and an a huge fan and they go a pull something like this.
- juliocgrajales, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Okay this is getting ridiculous I love Nintendo but its so messed up with technology and capabilities we have today that this can only come out in one country at a time... I understand business, economics, market viability etc... but damn the option should be available at least with some region free option or somethings Nintendo even though I am a ridiculously pro-Nintendo it just amazing that they can not apply the same logic they apply to the Japanese market to the US market... I want more features and gaming experience as well, we paid for it give it to us... if you really think this is important contact Nintendo here is a link, don't be scared and if you don't really care well thats your problem, lol
http://www.nintendo.com/contact - LavaHot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Everybody wants to ***** Nintendo, but not to spite them...
- Cloud7654, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That's pretty cool. Beats the hell out of writing a "J" in permanent marker on the back.
On a side note, I find it funny that they refer to Tingle as "Hyrule's sex god" XD - freehunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Most Nintendo fans do not mod, nor do they use ROMs very much. Microsoft fans do, because the Xbox is a PC, and Sony fans do, because they secretly like Nintendo games, so they hack their Sony devices to play Nintendo games.
- Tae1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I live in Japan and was wondering would a NTSC-U Nintendo Wii work with these features...?
- laseractive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The way Nintendo of America treats us is pretty embarrassing. In Japan and Europe they give away games, controllers and stuff like this for registering games. In the US you get some crappy wallpaper. Not to mention Japan and the UK seem to get better color choices and accessories that never get a US release.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1***** you nintendo...I need to own every zelda game and you make this new tingle game super exclusive? Seriously ***** you nintendo.
- verycool, on 10/12/2007, -31/+1Why?
