- kavuday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I bought a DS for my daughter this Christmas and then started looking into this whole flashcard business. As it turns out it couldn't have been a better time to get into it with the new Slot 1s being released.
1 M3 Simply = $45
1 2GB a-data MicroSD = $60
NDS ROMS via p2p = nearly free
40+ games on a single cartridge = priceless - Snouty98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1true homebrew is great, but I do worry about the affects of piracy if people start using the flashcards for pirated games etc, like one of the posters on this thread. I remember great formats being killed by piracy (e.g. Amiga) and arguably the PSP is going the same way in some parts.
I know, poor mega-corporations. but if games become unprofitable it'll be us who suffer.
still, early days re: the NDS. - iceeblue, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I own a DS I know nothing about homebrew. Good job.
