- Jadix, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Thats it. Im selling my PSP on ebay and buying a DS for mario and zelda.
- moofree, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Metroid prime hunters? Puyo pop fever? Advance wars? Castlevania DoS?
- jonathanex, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Note: At time of submission, no other submissions had a video - just the game details.
- SpacePirate, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Under the Knife, Phoenix Wright, Metroid Prime Pinball, Sonic Rush?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Tetris DS? Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan!? Kirby's Canvas Curse?
- EvanGH, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11It's pretty amazing that the DS is capable of visuals like this. Exciting.
- jedi0utkast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Actually. the Nintendo Emulator for PSP is the only reason I use my PSP at all lately.. It really is Ironic.
- Jestermask, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Holy crap...I love the DS so very, very much. Being able to directly control the path of your boomerang throws, pre-planning your boat travels and making it automated, and marking directly onto dungeon maps...
I'm totally in love! - threepio, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8It looks like the integration of the touchscreen was really well thought out - it made me realize that even though I've had a DS since launch, I'm still not thinking the way the developers are. From the boomerang to the notes on the map to the path of the boat they've found multiple uses that just hadn't occured to me in the context of a LoZ game. This is why I snap up (almost) every Nintendo system and first party game. (Poor, poor virtual boy...)
- o0joshua0o, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8OMG OMG OMG! I would kill a whole colony of Tusken Raiders for this game!!!
- nights0223, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Here's a YouTube link
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pGSdPL8rGg - Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12PSP ain't getting nothing like this! Looks like the final nail in its coffin.
- SpacePirate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Hell yeah. I don't care what anyone says, aside from the long-winded boat rides, Wind Waker was an excellent game, and the visual style was simply amazing. Regardless of that, it's good to see that they're putting the touch screen to great use; I never would have thought of having an ~editable~ map in a videogame... Nintendo, you never cease to amaze me.
- chembro84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Sorry, but pwned LOL. I have both a PSP and a DS and I constantly think "What the hell do I have a PSP for?", on the other hand, I know exactly why I have a DS
- Nitro420, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7All I can say is wow....
Sign me up. - rhino_rampant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Its so wonderful that we are getting up to speed with what the DS is capable of and what kind of unique gaming experience it truly offers. Frankly, it gets me even more excited about what the Revolution holds within the long term.
EDIT: Threepio got straight to what I was thinking! - walkingmac, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I have been thinking about a portable gamer for a while and debating between a DS and PSP. Now with this, Mario Kart, and others the DS is the clear winner.
- monkeymad2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Online Four Swords anyone?
i wish! - TECHSev, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5look carefully on how link always follows the fairy and attacks where the fairy is
conclusion: I believe this game is played exclusivly with the touchscreen, draw a circle around link = spin move, click on the monsters or draw a fast slashe threw them to attack, click and hold and link walks
and the FAIRY is to show where you are clicking, think of it as DiabloZelda
Nintendo sure wants to show off thier stuff when it comes to touch screen
on a side note, what are the odds of this having MP, Adhoc or Online - RobbieCrash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Good for you.
- eqisow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You poor, poor soul. I recomend going out and grabbing a NES, SNES, and N64 right now. At the very least, be sure to get yourself a Revolution for the downloadable classics!
- nocircleno, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I liked Wind Waker. But I loved Zelda The Minish Cap, that game was pretty bad ass. I hope it's like that.
- Leviss, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5wow... nintendo is taking all my money....
- ModernTenshi, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Does anyone else but me find this statement ironic?
- RScott, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Uh, why did I buy a PSP? DS Lite here I come.
- ModernTenshi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5**hugs his DS** You've yet to fail me, my sweet, sweet DS.
- djmiller, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ha Ha Ha, VirtualBoy! I actually had one of those when it launched and only just recently sold it on eBay. I thought it was a fun machine, except for those nasty headaches it caused. ;)
- navster15, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5God dammit Nintendo, I resisted Mario Kart, I resisted Animal Crossing, hell I was even going to resist Metroid Prime Hunters! Now I HAVE to buy a DS! Stupid Nintendo and its stupid innovation...
*Note: The preceding post contains 100% of your daily sarcasm requirement. - fr3nch13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Anyone know the approx. release date?
- mac512k, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3the way you use the touch screen is nice the way you can plot a course and put notes on a map. Finally something to make me stop playing mario kart and tony hawk.Something tells me this will sell way better then any gta on psp
- megashaun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3What you're feeling is called envy.
- t1clausen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I guess I have to go buy a DS now... Looks great!

Wow, can you say pwnda!? So many fun games for this system and they just keep coming. Whats funny is that I know many of the people who are wanting a DS now were non-believers not too long ago. - moofree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I loved that game! It's better when you have four players playing on four gbas.
Very entertaining. - bpapa, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Has any other platform in the history of gaming had as good a first two years as the DS has?
- Jimzip, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah it does look really cool. I applaud Nintendo for constantly coming up with new fun ways to game.
The only think that irks me is.. Link still looks like a muppet.. Ocarina of Time Link looked so much cooler..
Jimzip :D - rand21althor, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2New Super Mario Bros. coming out in May. Zelda: Phantom Hourglass coming out..sometime this fall. Metroid Prime Hunters and Tetris out now for the DS.
The DS is getting even more great games.
For me, this was the highlight of Iwata-san's speech, today. - moofree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2CDI zelda games don't count.
You should forget them. They never existed.
Zelda games are supposed to be *good* - pondster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2sweet!
- dirtyword, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2you should play zelda: the minish cap for gba/ds/visualboy advance. its almost as good as link to the past, and the art is definitely better
- cambrown99, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This is so sweet! I'm glad Nintendo didn't totally give up on cel-shaded Link. Like Mario DS, this looks like a nice blend of new school graphics with old-school gameplay. If only they would have announced the stateside release date of the DS Lite...
- zachtib, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2guess ill have to finally buy a DS now. maybe the DS Lite will be out in time
- quamb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thats it, I'm def getting a DS now... just waiting for the new ds lite.
- patientx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Direct link from nintendo europe site :
http://media.nintendo-europe.com/compel/video/cri9US3Ag5tBu3OkYw7e30hIK1Rv3Sa8.mov - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This shows that developers are starting to tap into the REAL power of the DS. I cant wait!
- boomerxl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You own a CDi! I thought I was alone in the world.
