- GamingNews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'm not sure if they are still around or not, but there use to be a company called 900Pay where you dialed a 900 number to get casino credits, and it was just applied to your telephone bill.
Essentially all that will come from the latest legislation is:
1. Transactions will have to flow through 3rd party billing companies. This is already being done, but ACH from the US will be near impossible, so companies like Neteller will likely suffer.
2. It forces the activity into the realm of black market rather than properly regulating it (such as in the UK). We all see how well prohibitions in other forms have worked in the past. There is no reason to believe this one will be any more successful.
