- gldfshnpcklejar, on 08/27/2008, -1/+33Have the above commenters all been living in closests for the last few months?
- Raingwc, on 08/27/2008, -1/+22It's so funny how the company developing this said that there were too low-spec computers out there, so they skipped the pc. Although, its developed to the wii...The Wii!
- Tigergrape, on 08/27/2008, -3/+24No, the game isn't as good as YOU want it to be. Don't speak for everyone.
- thegamingguy, on 08/26/2008, -5/+23The demo is pretty sweet, I love using the Force to fling troopers around. The Apprentice character is dope too, my favorite to play as in Soul Calibur.
- Malik112099, on 08/27/2008, -20/+35This game isn't as good as everyone wants it to be.
- Malik112099, on 08/27/2008, -0/+13Yeah, especially when it is going to be on the iPhone.
http://kotaku.com/5033529/the-iphone-force-unleash ... - philomatic, on 02/08/2009, -2/+13I dunno the demo was fun as hell
- Tigergrape, on 08/27/2008, -2/+12Exactly. I can't believe all ofyou have never heard of this.. the first trailer was out over a year ago - and why has this been made popular? Dugg down for repetitiveness.
- inactive, on 08/27/2008, -3/+13Yeah, it doesn't even have 'cutting of limbs' like the Jedi Knight series..
- Septimus, on 08/27/2008, -1/+9Either good version (PS3 and 360 in this instance) are nigh on identical, save a few contrast levels, so owners of either system get a good game.
The Wii, PS2 and PSP versions are a little horrid. I hated the Wii controls, more waggling bollocks. - omgwtflawl, on 08/27/2008, -1/+9Oh those goddamned wookies!
- rodrigo74, on 08/27/2008, -0/+7What about filling the gaps with some books written by credible authors (e.g. Timothy Zahn) next time?
And how many extra unknown Jedis they will keep finding, anyway? "Luke, you are the last hope...except 10 or 20 Jedis that no one ever heard about and show up from time to time, that is" - soupeh, on 08/27/2008, -1/+8It's not the characters actual name, and I like it for a dark jedi. Also it hearkens back to one of the early scripts for Star Wars when Lucas had Anakin Starkiller in mind as the name for Luke Skywalker.
- Majhem, on 08/27/2008, -2/+9NO.
Learn more than High School physics please. - Dracusis, on 08/28/2008, -0/+7^ 1920x1200 8XAA @ 120 FPS with 7.1 Surround.
The question is, why would you not?
Compred to modern PCs the PS3/360 hardware is already 3 generations old. - Gimjee, on 08/26/2008, -0/+6Ps2, Ps3, Xbox 360. It's not on Pc.
This game is going to be insanely awesome, even though they don't have the cutting off limbs thing. - aplardi, on 08/27/2008, -3/+9Sure the force controls are nice, but in terms of lightsaber combat Jedi Knight 2/3 (Dark Forces 3/4) still are the best. All you do, at least from the demo is mindlessly mash buttons, which can be fun to an extent. Also the way the force throw works didn't seem that well thought out. Maybe I'm missing it but, without multiplayer this game is just a rental.
- Ramez05, on 08/27/2008, -1/+7i guess you havent figured out how to use the combo system
- LAMinator, on 08/27/2008, -0/+6And the N-Gage.
- keozen, on 08/27/2008, -4/+9Lack of a PC Version makes Baby Ewoks cry
(Imagine the modding possibilities :) ) - iFrix, on 08/27/2008, -4/+9This game hasn't been released yet, How would you know how good it will or won't be? Trailers alone aren't enough to get the picture.
- bagboyrebel, on 08/27/2008, -2/+7Can't wait, the demo was awesome.
- blackhole82, on 08/27/2008, -0/+5I doubt that just a particular demo would cause your 360 trouble. Seems like it's more of a warning sign for things to come.
- bagboyrebel, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4and wii, although that one is being handled by a different team.
- Crash1337, on 08/27/2008, -5/+9Played the demo and didnt like the physics, nothing feels like it has an weight.
If you throw a metal container and it hits a wall it bounces right off like a basketball and flys in the other direction. - Punisher2K, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4No, they were thinking about how easy it is to pirate PC games
- DavidGX, on 08/28/2008, -0/+4No Euphoria, no DMM, ***** graphics..
yeeaaah..... - petebot, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4I guess you must actually be from Tibet...
- zdiddy85, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4We're not angry, just annoyed you haven't figured out google or wikipedia yet.
- th3heretic, on 08/27/2008, -0/+4PSH ONLY 200,000?! Thats ONLY like $8,000,000 (guess) Besides if those evil pirates had bought it we would have made 10-14million! Because all people who pirate software would have bought it if they couldn't have pirated it, right?
- Brododium, on 08/27/2008, -1/+5I think you mean living 'under a rock'... the interpretation otherwise implies that they're homosexuals.
- MainMor, on 08/27/2008, -3/+7The demo was fun. I really had a blast. With no multiplayer component to this game; I cannot in sound mind plunk down $60 for something I will probably play 1 time and then shelve or trade in for $22.
Drop the price 30% and we can talk. - petebot, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3I can feel your anger!
- Cubine, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3Agreed. Even more shocking is the PS2, which is apparently the Wii version without motion controls. Seriously, if I can run a decent PS2 emulator I'm pretty sure I'll at least be able to run the ***** version of the game.
- nunofgs, on 08/27/2008, -2/+5Let me say what everyone is thinking: GIVE US JEDI KNIGHTS 3 DAMMIT
- TimDigg, on 08/27/2008, -0/+3Sins of the Solar Empire sold over 200,000 copies...without copy protection
- DavidGX, on 08/28/2008, -0/+3Demo had nothing to do with it.
- McGrude, on 08/26/2008, -2/+5Just about everything.
- Majhem, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2TMI
- JayceMJ, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2I thought that was what he was getting at.
- bmcnally, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2You're right: It's better.
Every Star Wars game decides to focus on different things: in this one, it's the use of the Force to completely destroy your opponents by flinging TIE fighters at them. - harrisbradley, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3Reading the excerpts for each pic made this a 'must have' title for me.
- NCg8r, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2Noticed that in the Demo. Symbolic? or is this guy a droid???
- Baltiman, on 08/27/2008, -2/+4Almost dugg down for the lack of PC version - cmon Lucas - how on Earth do you justify that ommission?
- captdonno, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3so PSM gave this game a better review for both the PSP and PS2 than the PS3 version...kinda confusing. the demo was fantastic, if you can replay the demo again and again and still love flingin' troopers around and counting how many tie fighters you can clothes-line with bridge supports...i'd say that the main game is going to be a blast.
- KnightfallZX2, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2Not in the demo. You can use force choke as Vader in the full version though.
- LudicrousSpeed, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3Why does the dark jedi have a restraining bolt attached to him in the last picture?
- HumanRecalled, on 08/27/2008, -1/+3where is the 2 handed light saber welding ?
Disappointed the whole energy balls thing that come off the Storm troopers and fill you health back up -that is a little lame when that happens after you kill them !
plus to subsequently watch their body's just slowly fade off screen after i pummeled them with piece of star ship to little to no effect in visible damage is ultra lame as well !
overall i found it very entertaining for a short demo - raynar, on 08/27/2008, -0/+2try playing it first then. talking how you're bored with it and you havent even picked up the controller doesn't do well for your "street cred".
