New PS2 coming to Japan: same price, same size
joystiq.com — Sony has announced a new model of the Playstation 2 for release in Japan, which features an internal power supply and weighs less than the current slim-line model. Despite these changes, the unit will not receive a drastic cosmetic makeover, and will sell at the same price as the current PS2 (16,000 yen, or approximately $139.70 USD).
