All screenshots contained in the previews on the mainstream gaming websites have been manipulated (whether in size or with watermarks) in some way. I said nothing about the previews themselves.

However, I do have to say that Rockstar dropped the ball on the graphics this time around. I'll wait until the game comes out for my final opinion but I may be buying a different game instead.
- theboozer, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4I was totally impressed with the GTA clone, Saint's Row- and we all know that was just a basic HD revision of the basic GTA format. After having played just about everything that Rockstar has put out- I have a grand feeling about this one. Rockstar knows that they need to keep their winning formula, and in so going back to Liberty City, where it all started, have they apparently made the decision to do some major fine tuning- where it the formula will work best. I have a few friends who are over the whole GTA style of game, but for me- this is. This is the game of the future... make it multiplayer/online, and you've got the basic winning format for the game that'll keep bringin' them in 60 years from now... and they know this too.

How many of us are people who grew up knowing that a game was NEVER about it's graphical edge, but it's pickup style of gaming? I do. This game looks amazing, I didnt see any lag in the trailers, and if there was any, it didn't bother me. For Remember kiddies, its still in developmental process right now, they aren't releasing this build. Until November comes around for the game to be out for a few weeks and people can play it, Shut up! I thought Gears of War looked stupid and corny until I finally played it, and I was amazed.

But I'm really disappointed in the year of BioShock, Motorstorm, and Crysis that games still come out looking this poor. The author to this post said "no blurry images" and "3 high resolution screen shots". They certainly look blurry to me but blame that on Rockstar North.

- CrimsonBlur, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1These screens are very... underwhelming. Granted, the game is still in development, but the shots in the trailers were obviously chosen very carefully. In these screen shots you can see that the graphics really aren't all that impressive for a PS3/360 game. Graphics aren't everything, sure, but the GTA formula really isn't very different or "special" anymore. Hopefully Rockstar will step it up in the gameplay department, though I'm sure this game will sell like hotcakes no matter what they do.

I mean, when San Andreas came out it was released around the same time as MGS3 and Halo 2 and it looked like crap when stacked against those two, but it still was on par in the gameplay catagory - buryyourhead, on 10/10/2007, -4/+5Yeah save the good graphics for the PS3...that makes tons of sense. Face it you brainwashed *****. I don't care that the PS3 has more space on the disc. It's not gonna make games on the PS3 look a whole lot better (if at all) than the 360.
Look at the MGS4 graphics in the gameplay video. Looks close to what GRAW has to offer, but it has the gameplay (even though I think having to read a magazine to get over nausea is...for lack of a better description, ***** stupid) factor that Rockstar never disappoints in delivering with their games. These are screen shots after all, wait for the game play videos to make a proper judgment.
