- FasterGun, on 01/10/2009, -1/+24Add the Scooby Doo van and Im sold.
- AmyVernon, on 01/09/2009, -2/+11Love the Manhattan Spirit!
- mdaize, on 01/10/2009, -1/+9Man, Burnout Paradise is only missing one key Burnout trait... Aftertouch....great game otherwise!
The fact that the devs keep adding content shows their committment to us gamers rather then just trying to make a quick buck *cough cough EA GAMES cough cough*.... - kravex, on 01/10/2009, -5/+12It's not the original KITT, Lame.
- spritom, on 01/10/2009, -2/+9Listen! Do you smell something?
- dsmx, on 01/10/2009, -0/+7and restart.
- Phoenix219, on 01/10/2009, -0/+6Devs take note. This is how you support a game.
- Balgor, on 01/10/2009, -0/+6As to people complaining about the cars not being original....they'd have to license the likeness of the cars, driving up the price of the dlc. I'm still looking forward to it. The only thing that would make it more awesome is if they somehow had AirWolf and the A-team van.
- SolInvictus, on 01/09/2009, -2/+7Keep your scanners peeled.
- Wynner3, on 01/10/2009, -2/+7I don't have the game and my 360 is back at red ring of death headquarters, damn.
- BforBusiness, on 01/10/2009, -0/+5alright you fail. can anybody help this guy? ^^^ please?
it's Symmetrical book stacking. Just like the Philadelphia mass turbulence of 1947.
You're right, no human being would stack books like this. - dsmx, on 01/10/2009, -0/+5Yeah burnout is real crappy having sold millions of copies over the years.
- cayqel, on 01/10/2009, -0/+5Seriously, the car from the ***** show no one watched is not "legendary."
Let's see a Trans Am clone, or nothing. - GlitchEnzo, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4You are being buried for being so lazy that you couldn't even use Google to find out that it is coming out for PC next month (Feb).
- mstachiw, on 01/10/2009, -0/+4Great Scott!
- TheTjalian, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3Man, the amount of DLC for this game never stops! It's great!!
- Optimaximal, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3Likely just plays the Ecto-1 siren - all the Cavalry Bootlegger does is play the General Lee horn.
- cthellis, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3They couldn't get aftertouch in the older games' multiplayer anyway, so since everything with the new one is being done to make the experience seamless in or out of multiplayer, it really couldn't carry in.
You get a bit of the feel of it in Showtime, but it would be nice if Showtime had some more depth and fun to it, "skill-shots" and the like. - cthellis, on 01/10/2009, -0/+3Well it's kind of hard to enjoy games like this if you're more of a SIM player. Burnout is really the anti-SIM, but it's a *****-ton of fun.
- franklymister, on 01/10/2009, -3/+5That's so lame. How hard would it be to just license the real damn things?
I seriously doubt anyone who wants to drive the General Lee is going to consider a Mexican "Chicanator" as an acceptable alternative. - smilgy, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2Burnout is one of the most supported racing games of 2008 and 2009, there have been plenty of free dlc so far, and there will be more pay dlc coming this year
- ncapone, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2That's no fun! Supposedly the Ecto-1 originally had ghost catching equipment on top of the car; I was hoping it would shoot proton blasts at other cars or something.
- ncapone, on 01/10/2009, -1/+3I wonder what the Manhattan Spirit does when you press L3. Anyone know?
- Balgor, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2In forza as you well know, everyone and their brother had a General Lee themed Charger. To go against the grain, I made the General Washington. It had '76 on the doors and Old Glory on the roof.
- lildeviI, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2i'd imagine with the upcoming Ghostbusters game the license on that car would be locked down.
- cthellis, on 01/10/2009, -0/+2It may still. I mean, the BttF car gets to hover around, so it might be that the COOL cars do something better than play an iconic sound. ;-)
I wonder if KITT has a turbo-boost... - Coffeedemon, on 01/11/2009, -0/+2"all the Cavalry Bootlegger does is play the General Lee horn".
*All* it does? I'm sure it will also make me smile ear to ear to hear the horn while flying over some huge canyon on the way to busting up Boss Hogg's imaginary moonshine blockade up by the ol' crick. - meleemaster500, on 01/10/2009, -3/+4what if they added speed racer's car, the Mach 5?
- dsmx, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2Yeah burnout is real crappy having sold millions of copies over the years.
- xxCOBRAxxKAIxx, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1I love the Burnout series and I have never in all my years of gaming seen this level of DLC support from a dev. My biggest (and only) gripe with this latest version is the "open world" concept. I think in theory it was the perfect idea, but it made it tough to restart races (if you didn't win) by having to drive back to the original starting point. Did they change this in any of the patches?
- inactive, on 01/13/2009, -0/+1That is just sad.
- ziromix, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1it better have a jump function, that'd be awesome
- eddie72, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2I can't wait till a new Burnout game comes out. The whole no real tracks and nothing but exploration kills Paradise for me. I liked all the previous games.
- jbmcb, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1Awesome idea, but why in the hell did they model the new KITT? I'd also like to see:
Buckaroo Banzai's Jet Truck, with Oscillation Overthruster of course
The Nova from Death Proof
The Dodge M4S from the Wraith
Any of the cars from the original Deathrace 2000
The Duke's caddy from Esape from New York, complete with chandeliers
The 6000 SUX from Robocop
The Black Moon from Black Moon Rising (Based on a real supercar, the Concordia II, that was completely bonkers, it looked at home next to a lightcycle from Tron) - franklymister, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1Fair enough points about the licensing on Ghostbusters - but the Dukes of Hazzard don't have a copyright on the rebel flag, or the color orange.
- tymme, on 01/10/2009, -1/+2Haven't played the series much? That's part of the running theme, they're all similar and you get to guess the license. Toss in the actual licenses and you'll have people bitching about how the handling of one car vs another is completely unrealistic vs real life, etc. Ther's plenty of other racers w/ licensed models if that's your only concern with the game.
- MentalBeaver, on 01/11/2009, -0/+1Okay, NOW I'm interested in this game. I loved Burnout 2 and 3, didn't like Revenge and wasn't too impressed with the Paradise demo however this has got my interest.
- Hurricane, on 01/14/2009, -1/+1I did not say the entire Burnout series was crappy *****, I said this one was, and yes they are cheap ass rip-offs.
- lacalves, on 01/12/2009, -0/+0The Batmobile from the old batman movies and the new one. Now that would be awesome.
- SpawnXe, on 01/12/2009, -1/+0no
- Arkanti, on 01/10/2009, -3/+2Hmm yeah, bury me for liking the game and wanting to buy it.
- djpray2k, on 01/10/2009, -3/+2Never really liked the Burnout series but this sounds a fun addittion. More of a Forza player myself but can't see Forza doing this, not really their thing.
- Arkanti, on 01/10/2009, -8/+4So, when does it come out for PC?
- Arkanti, on 01/10/2009, -7/+3No, I tend to not smell through my ears.
- Zordar, on 01/10/2009, -6/+1Should be dugg down for lying in the teaser. These are not the originals, they are blatant ripoffs.
- Hurricane, on 01/10/2009, -8/+3What a bunch of cheap rip-offs in a crappy game too.
- inactive, on 01/10/2009, -7/+1legendary for people who played a crappy racing game and watched a failed bs remake of knight rider? AWESOME

What is Digg?
