Mr. Destructoid to be a playable character in Bomberman Live!

destructoid.com — Real gamers win. Destructoid, a videogame blog that came from nowhere in the last year has partnered up with Hudson to have Mr. Destructoid as an in game character. This may be the first time ever that a gaming site, let alone a fully independent site, will have a character in a game. The little guys win in Bomberman Live!

    • Dexter345, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5If I recall correctly, Destructoid has been consistently breaking stories BEFORE Joystiq and Kotaku, in addition to the usual [via So-and-So] tags added to the end of stories that they "took from more reputable sources." It's how blogging works. You can't always get the story first hand, and if something happens and you don't, you're certainly not going to deprive your readers of the news just because it's somebody else's original story.
