- AkatsukiNoTobi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+136Hmmm is that ship too small or is that hole too big?
- dormahc, on 10/12/2007, -6/+131Friggin awesome! I can see it now... "Hey baby. Can my industrial cargo ship enter the main docking bay of your Amarr Titan?"
Thanks to Ido for that inspiration ;P - idonthack, on 10/12/2007, -1/+81@ross.
Seriously, man. It's 2007 and you're on the ***** Internet. You can find out what anything is, all by yourself.
And in this case you don't even have to look for it. He gave you a link. Click on the goddamn thing and read it. - urbanRock, on 10/12/2007, -4/+84@AkatsukiNoTobi
It ain't the size of the ship. It's the motion of the ocean. - evil-doer, on 10/12/2007, -4/+83how exactly is this "sexually twisted"? its a representation of a penis and vagina. the very basics of sex. where does the twisted part come in? i was expecting something kinky or whatever.
- sneakerelph, on 10/12/2007, -1/+67@urbanrock
it sure as hell takes a long time to cross the atlantic in a rowboat though! - rationalist, on 10/12/2007, -9/+70The most disturbing thing on that page is the description: "We woke up this morning to do our morning skill changes"
Brought to you by "People Desperately In Need Of Reintroduction to RL And Urgent Acquisition Of Perspective." - ringo380, on 10/12/2007, -2/+58Sensationslist headline = front page..
Business as usual, move along. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+58@AkatsukiNoTobi
Like throwing a hotdog down a hallway... - smallSHEEP, on 10/12/2007, -1/+50@AkatsukiNoTobi
I've always said that size doesn't matter...
hull density, advanced particle weaponry and crew count more than make up for it. - zephc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+48Well, the station's dock has probably seen a lot ships go in and out, come and go.
- shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41a MMO
very complex space based, only for the hardcore. - merreborn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26Dude, your digg handle is a ***** pokemon. You're in no place to call MMO players virgins.
- MegaMonkie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+22"Losin' her... get ready for impact...!"
- Frophauser, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Skill changes only take a moment to do, and skill training is based on real time, so I don't think it's particularly sad to anyone who understands the way skills work in Eve. Doing "morning skill changes" can easily be completed while waiting for a pot of coffee to brew....
It is very common for players to set longer skills to training while they are asleep or away from the game, and then train shorter skills when they are nearby. Eve is quite friendly to casual players in that regard because you can keep training your skills while still maintaining your real life responsibilities and perspective. - purple, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20CCP doesn't punish this kind of behaviour. They still get their money.
- MeatBiProduct, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19if you need it explained to you - don't ***** look it up cause the game isn't dumb ass friendly.
- Domza, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18You forget that you're commenting on Digg. We've only seen a vagina in *.jpg format.
- Rabid_Llama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16That's actually not as sad as it sounds. The way skill progression works in EVE isn't like other MMOs where you kill a thousand giant rats to gain a level. In EVE, you set whatever skill you want to learn to train, and then it finishes in some number of hours, whether or not you're logged on or playing, or even paying for the game anymore. Skill juggling so you don't lose training time is a little nerdy, yes, but it only takes a few minutes out of your day, unlike progression in most MMO games.

Its an account selling site you ***** moron - Suplyndmnd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12"I can't even say the word 'titmouse' without giggling like a schoolgirl" - Homer
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12That titan must be some kind of slapper with a docking bay that big.
- Kwipper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11I got something even more twisted for valentines day.

Enjoy - Anand999, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13The docking bay on that space station looks more rounded to me than a vagina... more like an anus. Buttsecks?
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9What does that have to do with anything?
It's just a joke, not about "omg I find this cyborg / dark elf so hot!" ... :-p - benijuana, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10too bad that sending that to a girl will probably keep you from getting laid.
although if it doesn't... she's a keeper - BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v502/Einhanderkiller/eve-v-day.jpg
- toshipaine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Looks like that ship needs the Viagra Mark I boost, plus that space station looks worn-out.
- violentvinyl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Sheltered submitter?
That's wrong on so many levels. - jo3design, on 10/12/2007, -4/+10boa constrictor eating a piece of licorice
- Frophauser, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6If it was unintentional, it's an odd choice for a picture with the caption "Happy Valentine's" - They could've used a cute picture of two ships flying next to each other, but instead it is a picture of one ship about to enter the other one....
- Yggdrasil42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5... and I don't think it ever will.
* The gameplay is quite different, with very complex game mechanics. This leads to a steep learning curve but also allows for long-term playability.
* The fantasy theme of WoW doesn't appeal to many Eve players who are looking for hard sci-fi.
* You have more freedom in how much time you invest in Eve. Your char continues training even when offline, or even when you get out of the game for a few months. This was you can continue growing even if you can only spend a few hours each week.
I won't be switching anyway. - h4mx0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Hrm, aren't these docks usually used by more than one ship?
- MeatBiProduct, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6so what who gives a ***** - in eve online if you buy an account you'll still be a total ***** player. unless you understand your skills and abilities you could buy the most bad ass charecter and still suck total ass.
- benijuana, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6i think its just you
- Godlesswanderer, on 10/12/2007, -15/+20www.eve-online.com

- MoonDogAFO, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5"Only pc geeks who has no life and no girlfriend finds that stuff funny."
Says the Dane who has an IM name of "PornStoreStiffi".
Relax a bit son... - Avenrosh, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The Amarr Avatar is extremely phallic, and has been called a penis by several of the developers on multiple occasions.
- spudnic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Irony doesn't mean what you think it means
- Odweaver, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5no grind in eve, only mining missions and hunting.
Skill changes take the place of grind. - Acadian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I stopped playing WoW to play EVE--it's much more casual-friendly, meaning I can play as much, or more importantly, as little as I like without falling behind my friends. So long as I track my skills and log in for the whole thirty seconds it takes to change my skill when one finishes, I lose absolutely no time in terms of game progression if I stop playing for a month. WoW, on the other hand, forces you to either play daily for extended periods, or fall off the pace. Not very friendly for someone with a career and social life to worry about.
- wettestwillie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3the REAL reason ASCN lost the titan ;)
- dairyland, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5This is a little too Comic-Book-Guy-geeky. If you're really getting off on this you had better find a good porn site - AND FAST!!
- Stahly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Damn I wish I hadnt sold my eve account for 1000 USD.... oh well it was fun while it lasted
- Tippis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4@ ross
"why not just answer the question so people like me who don't really give a ***** about gaming can know what this thing is without reading for half a ***** hour."
Oooook.... so *they're* the lazy ones, not the guy who takes half an hour to copy-paste a link into the adress field? Or - assuming he's truly a novice and can't spot the obvious MMO vibes from the front page - the guy who takes half an hour to copy-pase the link, spot the "FAQ" link, click in, and reat the first question in that FAQ? - moofer, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Best comment ever.
- darthsnoopy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Thats awesome.
However, before you say it's the 'best in history', we should bring up one from history...Sudeki's promo pic that came out about a year before the game did...
