I hate look at thier spreads because the girls end up looking NOTHING like they do in real life - they end up like freaky wax sculptures of themselves... anyone remember Kari from Mythbusters in FHM? That girl is hot all by herself, but they wrecked those shots by trying to make her look like every other bimbo in the mag.

Correction: SOME MODEL "still gotta look good to boot." If a photoshoot is really bad beyond touchup work, they usually copy and paste body parts from other models entirely. They do this very often with magazine cover shoots.

I think before techtv died it started, and G4 enforced it. She was told "You're the pretty gamer girl our target demographic is looking for." She probably did like anyone else would do: Try to fill the place. I doubt the photoshopping involved is to the degree most of you are bitching about.
Plus, unless you're banging a hotter "real celeb" I don't know how you can all her ugly.
