Microtransactions generate more revenue than subscriptions

fatfoogoo.com — Dan Miller, Senior Economist on the Joint Economic Committee in the U.S. Congress wrote an excellent economic theory article last week, outlining how and why subscription based business models are losing money on both ends of the spectrum, while free-to-play models have a much larger revenue potential.
