Microsoft Hover! A great game that was hidden on the Win 95 cd.

duke.edu — I just had to share this. Anyone who remembers this game will get excited. It was hidden on the Windows 95 disc. You drive around and collect flags.

  • quickcomment, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Modpancake--IIRC, it also contained a trailer for Rob Roy, too. I had them on my Win 95 Companion CD. In fact, I cracked it out a few years ago JUST to watch the Weezer video in stunning 'high' quality (by today's standards, probably low quality)--a task my old 75mhz probably couldn't do very well.
  • bdevel, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I'll be damned if Microsoft actualy gave you something worth purchasing nowdays. Today, when you buy windows, you get the exact same Paint program and Notepad (except Cntrl+S actualy works) as the preloaded software. Unless you get a Dell, Gateway, HP, or Emachines; then you get a whole butt load of ***** software (spyware) that the manufacture got paid to put in there.

    Also, that same Windows 95 also had a Weezers video on it from the Happy Days show.
