Metal Gear Jesus: religious parallels in the MGS series

destructoid.com — Solid Snake is Jesus Christ. Big Boss is God. Meryl is Mary Magladene. Though you might not think it, the MGS series and the Bible have an awful lot in common, both thematically and in terms of their characters.
