- phoggey, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15The second you put the Mario sticker on it, the box would explode anyway.
- garrycam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9For those that have expressed an interest in purchasing these stamps here is the information that I have. Normally U.S. residents cannot order directly from Japan Post. However, they have appointed an authorized New Issues Dealer in The States -- The contact information for them is:
Herrick Stamp Company
P.O.Box 400
301 Mill Rd
Hewlett, NY 11557-0100
Phone: 516-569-3959
fax: 516-569-7093
email: questions@herrickstamp.com
I have had dealings with Herrick in the past and have not had any problems. - Emerica88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Not to mention the effects of actually licking the mushroom stamp.
- ryogahibiki, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10I hop so too!
- Sifl, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What about triforce stamps?
- farstar, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4That's nothing. I've been giving out Mushroom Stamps for years now.
- crythias, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Make 'em yourself: www.photostamps.com
- Jaymoon, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Did Mario die?
- rabidmoose, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3God I hope so. If anybody in Japan wants to order these for me, I'm ready to tip well...
- spectre_25gt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well, I guess we can see where the hearts of Diggers lie.
- craigtheguru, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4Warning: Super Mushroom stamps make it incredibly hard to stuff the letter in the mailbox, it is super-sized after all.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2They probably won't let you put copyrighted material on those stamps
- AmZa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1free, government-endorsed advertising for nintendo
cool stamps, nonetheless.. i want some - spectre_25gt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It affected so much more than just the video game industry, though. Mario became a cultural icon.
- ionix18, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those stamps are not offered by Japan post. They are offered by a private company. Also, don't be tempted to do the math 80 yen for 10 stamps 800 yen or 7.50$. It actually costs 3,500 yen for 10 stamps so 30$. Much less interesting.
- Monkeyget, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2France did something like that :

Who wants a 'nice' Lara Croft stamp? - w0rd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I too am interested in ordering these. Anyone have any ideas?
- Mr.White, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Do you think you can order these and have them shipped to America? All the forms are in japanese so I have no clue if they will or not...
- NewEvolution, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Tkkt, it's called humor.
While Mario stamps are indeed awesome, I'm more of a Metroid man myself.
Still, it's damn cool that Nintendo is getting some official notice. We need cooler stamps in the US. - EricAnderton, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Dude, that was a wicked retro comment.
Digg++ for extra "gnarly" goodness. - sock2828, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6I hop thease come to america

- kolop1, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2 See America is not the only place for consumer whores.
- ToadX, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3That's awesome, but I wish they used more modern pictures of Mario.
- Tkkt, on 10/12/2007, -12/+5I can't believe people are already trying to whore for diggs on comments. Is it necessary to post a link to a front page story that appeared yesterday?
- phuture84, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0if these were released in the US I might actually use the postal service again
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -8/+1wow, marked as stupid
