MORE bad news for Manhunt 2 as Watchdog Group Demands Adults Only Rating

gamepolitics.com — The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood is demanding that the ESRB rate Manhunt 2 Adults-only in North America due to excessive violence. An AO rating is retail death, since major retailers won't carry AO-rated games.   • secretwhistle, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Since the game will carry an M-Rating at minimum, why does a coalition for "Childhood" have any business griping about a game being marketed towards adults?

    Sure, some jackass at the local gamejobber will sell one to a 10-year-old. They're not out protesting all R-rated and Unrated DVD's being sold at most of these same stores just because they could be sold to minors. Apparently, only games influence and harm children.

    Doesn't the Wii have parental controls to limit on what games can be played on the console?
