- Cglass, on 10/12/2007, -4/+27The Streaming Digg Effect
- rctech, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22What happens when streaming video meets with digg effect? heheheh.
- volksport, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19After it's live - they put it up for download -- and its only been on for 25 minutes.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18Digging you down for that creepy 6 year old girl comment
- stickfu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17i wonder if the nintendo people are cringing right now
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12You had a GameCube in 1998?
- wilymon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13wow, i hope this ends up on youtube. watching nerds play videogames... awesome.
- hansamurai, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Wow, thanks for the link! What a great way to spend the rest of the day at work.
- hansamurai, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12It's called PR.
- OutofExile, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10I think someone is taking this ***** way too seriously. ;)
- OutofExile, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Wow, these guys are the very epitome of dorkiness.
It's really entertaining to watch. - volksport, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10They tried adding a 5th controller without switching one out first - the hardware is fine.
- Porkape, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8HAHAHA. I just checked it and I saw 2 fat people winded while sitting on a couch...that's gold.
- MikeCP, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9nah, just the wavebird.
- Sandkat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8This monkey ball game they area playing looks completely awkward and not fun.
- TinFoil209, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8They keep calling Link, Zelda through the entire game...
- fldash, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11Hey jackass, everyone who's been following the Wii has known that the characters in Wii Sports Tennis move on their own. Did you fall off the turnip truck yesterday? Go away.
- brundlefly76, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7wow I just found out theres nothing more boring then watching someone play Zelda.
Even if it wasn't boring, why would you want to watch someone play Zelda and spoil everything? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8Just because its free it doesn't mean it has to be crappy.
- KeyLimePie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Some of these minigames don't look so intuitive
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Nothing is free. You are paying $50 for Wii Sports.
- shortcircuit13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Actually, I've noticed that, too.
I own an XBox 360, and am quite torn between the Wii and the PS3, but On The Spot is getting very noticeably Wii-biased.
Currently: "... and we're gonna be playing Zelda in a lil' bit."
They're playing Excite Truck now, and complaining a bit about the smallness of the 1 and 2 buttons.
"The D-pad sorta feels like the DS D-pad. h,the D-pad DEFINITELY feels liks the DS D-pad."
sigh, and they're getting paid for keeping up with gaming news. - shortcircuit13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Wow, the exclamation point terrain warps are pretty crazy in Excite Truck, though it looks like control might be a b----. (Or the editors can't play well at all)
- H3avyC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Excite Truck's controls still look extremely loose.
- seanthebond, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7This is awesome. Right now they're making their Mii's. The only problem so far is that there is not a lot of head shapes to choose from. Oh well, that can be updated VIA Wii Connect 24.
AND THEY HAVE HATS! haha, score! - rodrigo74, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Dude. Seriously now.
Stop whining. - jporter313, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5here you go:
http://www.gamespot.com/pages/features/onthespot/index.php
Just go down to the show archive on the right side and click on the 11/03/06 show. It was considered a special edition of On The Spot, that might be what's causing the confusion.
Cheers. - jporter313, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6yeah, wait till they start actually playing, watching people play the wii is usually hilarious.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7That fat ass needs to stand up and start doing stuff.
It looks like they have never played a sport before. - rodrigo74, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Since the first time I saw this game, I had the impression it was the crappiest...
Nintendo Sports seemed funny though. - billymachine, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5They seem to be playing Super Monkey Ball minigames now. F that, bring on the Zelda!
- volksport, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Download for the friday PS3 edition: http://www.gamespot.com/downloads/6161080
Linked right from the front page of On The Spot in the right column of previous shows. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I totally agree it didn't look very fun at all.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Well the reason they had to switch it out in the first place was one stopped working.
- rodrigo74, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Got more bad news for you, the burger you get never looks as good as the one on the menu either.
Here's a small violin for you.. - dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You don't actually get to see them, though. So far, I've only seen a really blobby interpretation of Legend of Zelda: TP, and very unexciting, unexcited commentary by the editors.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Uh...nobody types standing up, while EVERYONE bowls standing up.
The guy using the laptop even suggested standing up, but he sat back down. Seriously, how lazy can you get? - AzraelKans, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5er... has anyone noticed Gamespot is getting a little tiny, weeny little bit biased towards the Wii? As in.. where are the reviews for all the PS3 games they've got? have you noticed they only posted the worst ones? but they've got previews for most launch titles?
- Omadhaun, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8I feel like such a loser watching these guy play video games while I am at work. Man, I love the Wii.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Well i have been watching now for 1 hour and 24 min and first one stopped working in the middle of a game and they tried to switch it out with another and they had troubles switching it out but the got it to work then in the middle of another game another guys stopped working around the end of the mini game. Now i just heard someone say they will switch another one of the controllers out because its not working so they are now playing 2 player so 4 controller problems so far.
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Good God those 2 fat idiots are BOWLING sitting down.
- scotus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4maybe you're the creepy one for reading it like that...
- reddevil3, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Wow, rating a game before playing it.
- honeybuzzer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Wow - that interface is way, way cool... and it seems easy to navigate with the controller!
- seanthebond, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Wow, they really have to learn to fish.
- Thorpe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I don't understand why they have this woman sit down with them. She knows nothing whatsoever.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+7Wow how lame they are playing Wii Sports Tennis and the characters move on their own and all you do is swing.... How fun.
- rctech, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Zelda is a definite must buy in my book. Banana blitz looked like a fun party game, same with Wii sports.
But imagine the posibilities for new genres with a new controller... Mapping user actions in 3d space. - sherwinb, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Sweet!
- Kent767, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4wow these professional game reviewers aren't very good at the games they play are they? :P
