- spriggig, on 05/10/2009, -0/+53In spite of all the jokes over the years, there is a huge pent-up demand for this game to hit the shelves. There has been this huge Duke Nukem-sized hole on store shelves, nothing has filled it in all these years.

- dzhastin, on 05/10/2009, -1/+37It's more like a guy who suffers a traumatic brain injury in a car crash and is kept alive entirely by artificial means. He's brain dead and has absolutely no chance of recovering, but he's kept alive by machines for years because his family refuses to face the truth. Years go by, everybody has written the person off for dead but a ventilator is still forcing air in his lungs so he's technically still alive. The physicians and nurses involved still provide him with care but they're a little embarrassed about the whole situation. Every once and a while he'll give a little twitch that causes a flurry of hope among the handful of people that still believe he can recover but it always turns out to be an automatic reflex or gas. Finally somebody with sense says "Look, this guy had his moment in the sun last decade but that time has passed. Put the poor son of a bitch out of his misery," and pulls the plug. It's sad for the 3-4 people who are in the room at the time but the rest of the world says "Meh" and keeps on going.
