That's why boy gamers get pissy when girl gamers try to flaunt their breasts as if it somehow makes them better. Games are gender-neutral, in case you haven't noticed. I don't give a damn if you're a girl, but if you make a big deal out of it, I *am* going to flame you... and likely tell you to reroll mage and conjure me a sandwich, bitch.

Who cares if you're a girl who plays games, just play it, have fun and don't make a huge deal about it.

    I actually get a kick when a guy tells a girl the straight deal in how they play or act and they come off offended then play the gender card.

  • inyearstocome, on 07/21/2008, -6/+19MOST women dont. Of the ones that do, MOST are very light/casual gamers who hop on once in a while. The market is there, but very small.

    Of course there are exceptions to every rule... but i'd venture a guess that it would be a stretch to call MOST of those exceptions "women".

Yeah, I'm a girl and i play video games, but i do it for fun i don't do it for status. I have a voice changing thing on for xbox live when i play cod4 or halo matches because i dont want to be treated differently from the guys. i hate it when girls brag about that stuff.

    im betting most of the games the women play could be stuff like guitar hero. Some girls from my college love playing super mario galaxy and other games similar to that, just not games like gears and other somewhat greusome FPS's.

    I think a big problem is that a lot of women would be willing to play video games, but the vast majority of games hold absolutely no appeal for them. There are also plenty of guys who don't play video games.

    It's not a male vs. female thing. It's just a hardcore gamer vs. casual gamer thing. I think there are just a lot more guys attracted to hardcore gaming. If there were more games that appealed to a wider audience, you'd see more of these guys and girls who don't play at all pick up a controller once in a while.
