  • Schmapdi, on 01/01/2008, -4/+17What's with the Mario Galaxy commentary? Since when do game of the year lists go completely negative on what they chose as the 5th best game of the year?

    I got it for xmas and I'm some 60+ stars into the game and I've no major complaints about the camera. Yeah, the controls for the Ray-surfing blow (rotating the controller left or right to turn left or right is not intuitive at all) but there's only 2 stars to be had that way. The other mini-game levels Super Mario Ball and Bubble Mario control great. I prefer Super Mario Ball's controls to Super Monkey Balls (Super Monkey Ball has that damn twist your wrist to turn control).

    That fact that all you crying bitches didn't like portal makes no difference to the fact that it was actually a really, really great little game.

  • Zuggy, on 01/01/2008, -1/+10Having played both, the reason Portal got first was innovation. It took the FPS genre and put it on its head, and it did so in a flawless manner. CoD4 is a great FPS, but it doesn't really do anything to change the core gameplay of the FPS genre.

    Plus Portal had the best video game song of all time.
