- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -20/+154I still voice my vote for Kari Byron of Mythbusters fame: http://www.fhmus.com/images/cms/tpl_11/tpl_11_ss_lg_2/30.jpg
- fearofcorners, on 10/12/2007, -3/+108Newsflash: Average Girl Gets Attention By Dressing Like Slut
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -1/+94There's been a heap of these "geeky babe" posts lately..
Just so noone here is confused: Just because they're geeks, doesn't mean you're getting any... - djseligman, on 10/12/2007, -9/+92I'd let her play with my Wii !
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+68...wow....

Made my day. - Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -4/+66she knows "HTML Code" and watches Adult Swim? That's not that geeky..
Now, if she built robots, collected gundam action figures, had a storm trooper uniform that she vacuum-formed herself, built a tiny rollercoaster in her back yard, operated a UFO conspiracy forum, and wrote linux kernel drivers, then.. THEN.. She'd be a geek, bordering on massive nerd, and my head would frickin' explode. - Buddhist, on 10/12/2007, -4/+58""I love dressing like a schoolgirl, probably because I’ve been one since I was 4.”

...Marry me? - soogy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+47If she's a geek, I must be a ***** pirate ninja.
- dtrinh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+43Digg should automatically cache, on submission, any story with "girl", "hottie", "geek", or "playboy"
- MrTea, on 10/12/2007, -1/+36She probably uses Dreamweaver or Visual Studio to make her web page via WYSIWYG editor, makes successful changes to the code and says "OMG I so know this LOL."
- sirloin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+36Cant you freaken digggers wait until i see the site before you kill it
- artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -7/+35No Ocarina for you.
- hostilefreak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+29Exactly. Geek wannabes.
- dclowd9901, on 10/12/2007, -8/+35@Fernando, point, & ultima
You know, there's a way to agree with people here on Digg, without expressly stating it. It's called, "Digging." Now I know what you're thinking: Complicated. That couldn't be further from truth, chaps. Simply click that little green thumb if you agree with what they say, or, if you're feeling mischeivous, click the little red thumb if you don't agree.
It's Web 2.0! - Nikole, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25interests: digg.com
- DJCult, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27Wow, Digg effect in...full effect...today, this is the third site F'n destroyed via digg. Well done, everyone. It's like swinging a giant gong-mallet at tiny glass angels. God, I love digg.
- DarkSunlight, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27digg down this comment...
- hostilefreak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25She is no geek. Since when, "knowing" html makes someone a freaking geek?
- KibibyteBrain, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25True. When geek = plays videogames, watches certain TV shows, etc, what do we call Engineers, hackers, garage wizards and such? What proudly negative term can we make up for them that doesn't apply to someone with no actual useful skills at all?
What happened to the days when college computer clubs actually made computers from the IC and discrete component level, rather than just played counterstrike all day? What happened to the true American geek? - desistere, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24"She is out of my Lech Age Range. The Lech Equation is (your age)/2 + 4. I'm 34 so, 34/2+4=21. I can go as young as 21, any younger, I am a lech."
Umm... I am 24. 24/2 + 4 = 16.... that wouldn't make me a "lech".. that would make me a pedophile... - aboutblank, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21Sorry for comment abuse, just trying to provide a mirror.
http://www.abouttheblank.com/random/GeekZineMirror/ - shoeshine, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21I was reading your comment, and I knew what you meant, but I was confused. I had never heard of ribber ducks being a term used. Took me a full 15 seconds to figure it out. I feel stupid.
- Phil246, on 10/12/2007, -0/+20a real geek wouldnt HAVE a myspace page, they'd have coded one of their own instead
- misterjangles, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21has the nyud.net cache ever worked one single time for anybody?
- dime, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19She's cute, but they've really set the bar low for geekdom these days.
- daborg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Dude, why would you hope that?
- alej744, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21please stfu.
- Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17She's faking it though, she's glossy horse with a paper towel tube taped to her forehead trotting across kool-aid.
- krakkinem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15These days if a cute girl wants online attention all she has to do is call herself a gamer and guys go nuts!
Personally, I think it's cuter for a gamer girl to actually play games rather than tramp it up and exhibit herself. - MightyNe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16INTERESTS: digg.com
- mewhocorrupts, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I get the feeling that you wake up in the middle of the night and eat corndogs. I can't explain it, it's just a feeling.
- tungsai, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14As a male, I am very glad that sexism pervades even the erudite realm of geeks. After all, whether the female is a singer, your co-worker, or some girl on a web site, who wants to see ugly chicks?
- SakisRakis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16IMO Geek is more of a personality type than a measure of what computer knowledge one has attained...
- desistere, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I haven't seen the pics, because I can't get them to load, but if you've seen most of the geek girls out there, then you know that even an "average" looking geek girl is like a shimmering unicorn prancing across liquid water that speaks with a foreign accent.
- Guard, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=6711534&MyToken=0125746f-b7a9-4fda-9ebc-8427a43332ff
Look at the main page of her myspace. It's horrible. Anyone who knows HTML (and hopefully CSS) wouldn't leave the myspace page generator tags laying around, and they especially wouldn't let that kind of a mess happen. I don't buy it. - ROFLance, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14heh, one of her interests is "rubber ducks" i'm sure that's a typo, the "i" key is right next to the "u".
- jodokast, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13It doesn't.
That just makes them slightly more tech savvy than other people, and thats enough for me :) - CaptShmo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Okay, she's hot, but this has less to do with geek and more to do with "hot chick". Digg, but i hope this isn't a slipperly slope where all the frontpage posts become softcore.
- calvmari, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13"Umm... I am 24. 24/2 + 4 = 16.... that wouldn't make me a "lech".. that would make me a pedophile... "
But your honor, she's within lech age! - dimsum05, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Only HTML and games?
I need someone who can write in Assembly, honey.
NEXT! - warnerrr, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13personally, she seems like a wannabe geek to me, look in the top left corner of her myspace, see that little button? That means she doesn't know enough HTML to change her myspace without the help of a generator. Look at how ***** her myspace layout is. Missing *****, unclosed tags, etc. Also, I thought that you needed to be more than 40 hours into the month before you could claim "best of this month". Seriously, how stupid are you gonna feel if a supermodel quality chick comes out with a brand new coding language? Are you gonna come back here and un-digg your own story? Didn't think so.
-eidt- Damn, beaten to the punch. - corywingerter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14I refuse to believe that claim until she comments on this thread.
- Tenlow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Last I heard 19 wasnt a child anymore.
- Klowner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Yeah, she's nowhere near as hot as the DoA girl you have for your digg icon ;o)
"I totally would not hit it, way below my standards, she probably has pointy knees" - dagamer34, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12If you're expecting decent looking HTML code (or even webpage), MySpace is the last place you should be looking.
- kingmad, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14But she's in love with Spock, and I think most geeks can compete with Spock. He's like the alpha model of geekiness.
- artofwar420, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I'll guess you'll stay single forever. Unless you wanna settle down for a "lesser" woman.
- krypnos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13@ jwyles
I agree with Kari Byron, but disagree with the FHM thing. Kari's hot, and sure she could take a month of the year without much difficulty, but she is hottest when she is doing something that requiring a bit of brains. She's far better on the show, when she's working on some problem/myth, then she'll ever be in a photo spread. - slippers, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11All these comments are exactly why there aren't girl geeks.
Baby steps people, baby steps. I'll take a cute girl with basic html skills over a girl without them any day. - timdorr, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16Direct links to the images themselves:
