- Peepsalot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Dammit, I clicked the link looking for the best of LA's geek chicks.
/me hangs his head in shame - Miyazaki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Are they not allowed to take pictures of the art from straight on from some reason?
- crisisaverted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Absolutely stunning. I have the I am 8 Bit book and I've never seen half of the stuff in these pictures
- themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Some person labeled a picture as "Mario again" but it's Wario.
- demonotaku, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2These are all really good paintings. I kinda wish that the photographer had been better though.
^^^Miyazaki beat me to it^^^ - hello2usir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Real geeks don't go to social events.
- 60effects, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Finally... art I can understand! I love all the Joust pieces.
- j3rm1981, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Some very interesting bits in there...and some bits are very disturbing. Would love to see the art in person.
It's always interesting to me to see some old favourites in ways I've never thought of them before. - Dorepoll, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1God I'd love to see this. I didn't know there was a book on sale, I will have to check that out. If anyone has a link to the book, please post it.
I always wonder why fan art annoys me, yet this exhibit always amazes me. Canvas must glorify it, or at least the exhibition only picks the absolute best. - lcarsdeveloper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here's the book on Amazon:

(Don't worry, it doesn't contain my referral code. If you buy it, I won't earn a cent commission). - loconet, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is this some hidden level? wow..

- Eivo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Chic and Geek at the same time? I question the geekery of anyone claiming to be chic!
- WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's actually really hard to take pictures in there. The gallery is TEENSY and packed with other humans.
- JagoX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Is it the one with the Pac-Man grenade on the cover? I love the art in it...and its of pretty high quality as well.
- JagoX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You can actually buy some of the art work now and have it sent to you once the show it over...it won't be cheap though. However they also will do multiple limited edition copies of some of them as well for a lower price.
I'd say bookmark the site and keep an eye on their online store. - WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Colette counts!
- Import98, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nice artwork. Does anyone know of a website where you can purchase unique gaming art like this? I would like to get a few gaming paintings or artwork for my computer room.
- rix0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dammit, digg my first comment down, peeps! I got the link to work...

:) - Witchboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There's a lot of great stuff there, but for some reason my favorite was the simple, haunting Pac*Man.
- WeeklyGeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Hate to plug my own site, but I have some unique video game prints at weeklygeekshow.com
- rix0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.destructoid.com/elephantphotos-m.phtml?post_key=31066&ms=1
I think this is my favourite. Wish I could afford to buy some.
edit: the link doesn't seem to work, but just copy and paste it :) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I make 8bit music and i know people in this scene would be interested in it.
