Video games are not to blame, neither are the gun manufacturers. The parents are to blame because they are not educating their children on how to behave in society, and just plain what is right and what is wrong.
I know people that sit there and play video games all day, and they're scared to hit someone who's attacking them in real life.
I also know people who don't play video games at all, and they're extremely violent.

They would have to go to congress and lobby for stricter gun laws which they already do. And the whole point about going after video games is the idea that violent games reward kids for acting violent and killing people, which could translate to hitting other people or stabbing them, not just shooting them. It's not about the instrument, it's about the desire to act on your feelings of hate. They know that it is pointless to outlaw guns unless they also outlaw kitchen knives and pointy sticks.
